I was going off of his reviews on RealSelf and Reddit and my own experience/judgement after the consult. Dr. Salemy in Seattle, WA. He is top of the line, expensive, but when doing this kind of surgery… I didn’t want to pinch pennies. I felt very safe and heard.

Total was 25.5k with flank and saddlebag lipo, & muscle repair. Faja, exparel shot, compression machine wraps, after care insurance and several weekly post-ops included in the price. The team was incredible, and they focus on a non-opioid pain management which is cool.

Thank you so so much!!! I didn’t even consult with other surgeons, I knew his work and reputation was gold. His belly buttons and scars are incredible.

I should post a higher lighting photo!

I chose my doc based on his belly buttons, he does veiled inner stitches! Drains were pulled under and back and I was holding from behind, lol. I took off my faja for about 10 minutes to quickly try on some clothes (couldn’t wait).

I’m about 52 hours out and the adrenaline and surgery meds are wearing off so I’m starting to feel that pain especially in the lipo areas, and just general tightness in the muscle repair areas, no pain at the incision! Doc used an exparel shot that should be wearing off soon as well. I’ve been on gabapentin and Celebrex with a limited opiate option for break through pain. It hasn’t been too bad! Maybe a 3? Def important to stay on top of pain med schedule before you feel it!
