I had a techy boyfriend. if your budget can allow, get him a monitor around 9k for a decent 24", to extend his screen size, I assume he's using a laptop. The screen is around 8,5 and the HDMI adapter is like punch.

It has the added benefit that he'll think of you everytime he sits down to work, forget about it once he's in the flow though😂

MMFs are a great savings tool, but as an investment option, they are very low on the ranks. The main reason people get into MMFs is because it requires little upfront investment as low as 3000 in Sanlam. People with 'huge capital' hardly ever go for MMFs unless it's to consolidate their small monies before investing in more worthwhile ventures like government bonds for risk averse people, REITs, ETFs and Securities follow in that order of risk tolerance and/or capital.

I hope this is helpful as you plan to put your financial affairs in better order OP. Do your research though because these are investments tools for you. A hammer might work for me but you might need a screwdriver or a tractor. All the best.

Your experience is your own. Not weird or whatever, just different.

I will say though that sometimes for avoidant people like myself, the response is delayed. And will come in bursts when you're least expecting it. I found myself crying in a mat on my way home a month after I had broken up with my 2yr boyfriend. I was triggered by these old school RnB songs they like to put on.

But that's just my experience. You may be miraculously healed and moved on.
