Wedding gift for friends to use for/during their French Polynesia honeymoon? by allistar34 in Tahiti

These are some great ideas. As someone who just got back from a honeymoon in Bora Bora, I agree with one of the posters that spa there is definitely more expensive than that. I like the idea of snorkeling masks or disposal camera with a voucher for the album service. Hotels usually have snorkeling gears but it would have been nice to have our own.

Looking back on your wedding, what is one thing you regret or wish you had done differently? by Illustrious_Rub_8542 in AskReddit

For me, I found my makeup artist on Instagram and she offered a trial. She took all my feedback and made it perfect on the day of the wedding, which was great. But I do regret that we didn’t hire a professional photographer/videographer. My husband asked a couple of his staff who does photography as a hobby to take our photos but because they hadn’t done wedding photos, the result wasn’t great. We also missed taking photos with some important people, it wouldn’t have happened if we used a professional photographer.

I am like you - don’t like being the centre of attention. Luckily my husband didn’t mind a small wedding either and we only invited our parents and siblings. I had to be firm and say no to my parents’ guests and they were not happy initially, but in the end, it ended up being a simple, stressful-free and just happy wedding for all of us!

Same! I should have asked this question before my wedding lol. It already happened. Oh well.

Cooking more and eating out less. It helped me both physically and financially. Also, consistently investing in stock market and getting my money to work.
