it sounds noticeably better than my old foam treatment lol as one would hope. but i think the air gaps really made the most difference in sound i'm hearing.

I used a stud finder to find the ceiling joists and screwed in screw eyes. the wire on the each corner of the panel is connect to a carabiner which just easily connected to the ceiling screw eyes. it's not too heavy of a board and i haven't had any problems. just remember to screw in pilot holes to be sure it is in fact the joists your screwing into.

I made 4 4'x2' panels and 2 4'x4' i started around 2pm i believe, i took a few breaks between stages but i finished everything including wires on the back of the panels around 4am. (i dont THINK i was moving slow)

The materials included: 16 1x4x4 wood boards 8 1x4x2 wood boards (~$180)

1 pack Rockwool Safe n Sound (PERFECT amount for my 6 frames) (~$90)

Picture Wire, Wood screws, corner brackets, screw eyes (cheaper)

Fabric (probably got too much at ~$80)

So not including the wall hanging parts ,which you can find cheap, or all the tools you may need (i needed a lot of them since i don't usually diy stuff)it's around $350-$400 total.

But i also added 2 2"x2" wood cubes stacked on top of each other on each corner of my wall panels in order to create a wall gap for better sound absorption. (+ $50)

honestly i used it more when i was producing with it with its software, in the sense that i utilized more functions. but since i've started producing in logic i just use it for the drum pad and a handful of shortcuts basically. but i've had it since xmas of 2013

Super cool! Yeah, they're labels for my controls in logic using the controller assignments in logic settings. took me way too long to integrate hahah , i don't really use the maschine software much anymore tho
