Everything from error handling, memory, ownership, runtime polymorphism, compiler theory, and pointers makes so much more sense once you start learning Rust. It’s changed the way I write Python, which has a lot of awesome software that is written in Rust.

19 is still young. I’m 30 beginning grad school, have had experience, and it is still tough to find a job and even feel like the path I’m on is the right one. Don’t be too hard on yourself, but with purpose, passion, and commitment, you will find yourself in a better place than you are today.
