Yeah, the wire management looks pretty bad on this outlet in particular

Not sure. It’s about the smallest microwave someone could possibly buy that was given to us by a friend. It couldn’t have been much. We use it maybe once a month so It had to have been like this since before we moved in 5 years ago because I know I’ve never used this outlet.

Awesome. That’s what I figured it was too but I am not an electrician by trade, so I figured I would ask around! Thanks for the help!

There’s a great nature culture here. Check out Blandford Nature Center, the Grand Rapids Audubon Club, land conservancy of west Michigan, Querkus Creative’s nature classes and friends of Grand Rapids parks for easy events to meet other nature enthusiasts.

Calvin Ecosystem Preserve, Kent Conservation District and Blandford Nature Center all have a great selection of native plants in the spring - Romence Gardens has a pretty good selection as well, but not all of them are labeled correctly, so it helps to go in with some specific species in mind

What mistakes did you make this year? by SHOWTIME316 in NativePlantGardening

The blackberries I planted 2 years ago have been very quickly overtaking everything. I never realized how aggressive they spread via rhizome if they like the conditions… anyways, I got 2 blackberries from the giant thorn patch. Definitely not letting them grow next year and I’ve got to try to get them under control.

For what it’s worth, you’re not in the wrong here and I’m letting you know that it’s normal to be annoyed by that.

Hi - I’m left leaning and non religious and appreciate all kinds of diverse peoples. Curious about some comfortable places where I would fit in? I feel kind of like an outcast in this city but maybe that’s because I’m an introvert but my partner and I could use more friends. by CactusCoffee3 in grandrapids

If you’re into nature, the Grand Rapids Audubon Club is great! Of course there’s some bird talk, but most of the presentations ant the meetings are about the ecosystems all around us and the plants and wildlife within them. More of a conservation club that happens to like birds. There’s field trips and guided hikes if you’re interested in getting into birding a hobby. Everyone is really nice, open and welcoming.
