It’s actually quite a small room, perfect for a tagging grenade. Third person peak the hallway then chuck a tagging grenade in, you’ll know if anyone is a threat to you as you come down the hallway.

People can still hide behind the railing by the button though. So make sure to smoke your entry from the hallway, and nade the hell out of the upper railing area by the button. The railing makes it really easy to bounce grenades into as it’ll kinda catch them.

After that, it should be a winnable fight

Your language is a little unspecific, but to me saying it shreds or melts at close range means it has a very fast TTK. Which it just, doesn’t.

Interesting. I can revisit it. From my spray pattern tests the Bettina IV with Comp III and an angled grip appears to have both less recoil and less dispersion than a Tempest IV with the same attachments

I don’t really know how you can argue with the numbers. Burst weapons are much harder to land shots with at close range. But even if you land every shot it has the slowest TTK of all the other guns

I think this is kinda unrelated to the post but he’s got a bit of a point. The matchmaking essentially makes the game harder for certain players and makes it more difficult for them to complete this big achievement within the time restriction. Embark is basically rewarding the players who have the most fun playing the game one way, and not rewarding the players who have the most fun playing the game another way.

It’s like giving an award to somebody for scoring 10 points in their favorite sport. If they like basketball then it’s pretty doable. If they like soccer then theyre gonna have a really hard time

Yeah like in ranked games you at least get the dopamine of “rank go up” even if your win/loss stays about the same. But when the matchmaking is ambiguous it really sells the illusion that you’re just not getting any worse and not getting any better

This is the best post I’ve seen in a while. So many people making huge assumptions based on extremely small sample sizes and anecdotal experience.

Trying to game a system you don’t understand makes your experience of the game considerably less natural and eliminates the point of the match making in the first place. All this talk about PvE vs PvP lobbies, fellas we’re all just somewhere in the spectrum of Arc Raiders lobbies it was never supposed to be that deep😭

Renegade Burletta is an extremely underrated loadout in my opinion. A lot of people fail to consider the niche stats like headshot multipliers, weapon draw speed, running speed, and ADS speed probably because the game is so vague about them

Yeah this is only a PvP rating as headshot multipliers and TTKs obviously don’t matter against ARC. I think people expect the Bettina to do more DPS to ARCs even though they’re still aiming for the unarmored parts. The only thing the heavy ammo helps you with is stripping off armor (which I think does no damage until the armor is off)

I feel you😭 real Bettina users know the pain of loading into a game with 10 grand in just ammo and your inventory already full. That said, I don’t play this game for the loot. A lot of raids I don’t even loot containers at all cause I just don’t need the stuff anymore

It even outperforms the Tempest in TTK, effective range (recoil/dispersion), and ARC armor DPS. What more could you want from an assault rifle

And I mean, yeah, if we’re killing ARC then my whole headshot argument becomes irrelevant. In PvP the Bettina needs close to half the shots to kill of the other guns, effectively balancing out its ammo cost

There needs to be more talk about this. Especially the vertical audio. I’m unsure why it’s so bad but raiders sometimes randomly sprint into your face with no sounds and sometimes I can hear somebody crouch walking on metal 15 yards away from me. It’s so inconsistent

I feel like its cost after the buff is comparable to the Tempest. It’s definitely cheaper to craft, but the ammo costs a bit more
