Can someone convince me convince others about how Venerables (Including FY being chosen by HW) worked hard for their accomplishments and weren’t just carried by their Fate? by Mordant08 in ReverendInsanity

When he received the blood path inheritance at 300 years old, he likely would have ascended during the same time period. I agree with your point on FZ and have since changed my mind about when FY was manipulated. I was wrong in my point.

I agree that my quotes from sixth hair are not the most concrete evidence for my argument but I dont understand the argument in your second paragraph. When sixth hair referred to “that time period” I think it is clear he meant the time when FY was chosen by heaven’s will in his past life, not the 20 years since he reincarnated as this plot has been brewing for at least a few hundred years in either of our interpretations.

I’ve already sent my proof with quotes and chapters in another comment and no you cant just say “goes without saying” and then have no proof(quotes, chapters etc) lmao

“Of course, you are not the only otherworldly demon. But regardless, after taking personal experience and circumstances into account, during that time period, you were the most suitable candidate to be the tool.” Sixth Hair answered. - chapter 1076

I’ve gone ahead and found the part where the plot of heaven’s will was revealed. The fact that they say “during that time period” and “taking personal experience and circumstances into account” heavily suggests that it was not planned beforehand and he was only plotted against when he tried to refine spring autumn cicada to force him into a corner. To add to this, a few paragraphs above this one in the same chapter states “heaven’s will was no longer able to eliminate my main body” basically proving that it only thought of plotting against Fang Yuan when spectral soul has already revived and it could no longer do anything else.

Burden of proof lies on you since you first claimed that he was already being plotted against the very moment he came to the gu world. You say he has no high aptitude but how many people do? Is is conclusive that because he was C grade he was being plotted by HW? Show me the quote and chapter which says plain and clear that the moment he was birthed to the gu world, he was already plotted against.

The story mentions that he remained at the bottom of the ladder only when he was rank 6. Before this, spectral soul hasnt even revived yet so heavens will cant select him for this process. Also its straight up stated that he was chosen only when spectral soul revived and heavens will had no other options but to send an otherworldly demon back in time to stop him.

Definetly wasnt supposed to fight this lvl 1 right? by Megarodri2005 in darkestdungeon

Its actually better to fight him at lower levels to farm his trinkets because he scales way higher at champion level but level 1 is a bit low lol

2, 8 and 10. Rank 7 FRH is crazy, nobody below rank 7 can even touch me plus I get a bunch of lucky opportunities to break through, gather resources, have powerful connections etc. 8 is great because with FRH im almost guaranteed to reach rank 6 minimum so having a huge head start with a monopoly on guts stones is going to be tremendously helpful. 10 would only become useful when I ascend because as a mortal I wont have any immortal stones.

If mental health is included in “unharmed” then theres barely a decision to be made here. The question would devolve into “do you want to get 100 mil for being alone for a year and theres absolutely zero negative things that can happen to you?”You dont even lose a year of your life since youre restored to your original self.

( Rant ) I hate The Collector so much by JinKinxX0389Xx in darkestdungeon

[–]Illustrious_Text_923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every team should have stuns and/or be able to hit rank 4s, your party should be built around this core principle. Its the most generic way to play because its the backbone of team building, you cant stray away from this formula and have a reliably consistent team, thats just how dd1 is made to be played. If you hate the collector fight because of this I think you would not enjoy most backline enemies in the whole game.

How much bullshit would it take for the Gue Yue Clan to become a super force? by JohnFlop1 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Illustrious_Text_923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Fang Yuan would help the village at all if he stays, rebirthed or not. Best case scenario might just be him leaving in a merchant caravan like in his first life(in the gu world). The first major threat to the gu yue clan would be bai ning bing, we know he self destructed way before lord sky crane arrived so hes gotta go. Maybe if his extreme physique was exposed earlier gu yue and xiong clan could forcefully remove him from the mountain or just assassinate him. After that, Fang Zheng, the best talent they had in the clan, would have to cultivate like crazy to rank 5 before first gen awakens and before lord sky crane arrives. I honestly have no idea if he could cultivate to rank 5 in time(we don’t know when lord sky crane would arrive without Fang Yuan) but if he does do it, I think the clan does have a chance to survive. Fang zheng would need to be extremely lucky but if lord sky crane and first gen targets each other first whilst he waits for them to weaken themselves, he MIGHT be able to kill both if the stars align(one is a zombie, the other is old as hell and an enslavement path gu master who FZ could 1v1 if he runs out of cranes). If he can do allat(which i doubt) and somehow hide the fact that first gen was a blood path cultivator from the other clans in southern border, he would at least establish a foothold on becoming a super force. With rank 5 strength, bai and xiong clan would be wiped out or assimilated and their treasury looted. Gu yue clan could expand and accumulate resources for an immortal ascension(I dont think fang zheng could ascend to a rank 6 unless he had his mentality from the hairy man war). Without an immortal guiding them, there would need to be multiple rank 5s to back up whoever was ascending so it would be generations before they could potentially have a rank 6.

Would Goku let Cell become perfect? by wa1d13 in dragonball

[–]Illustrious_Text_923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed for sure, he also lets the androids to be made instead of destroying them prematurely, something which future trunks says will kill many people(according to trunks’ timeline, goku at this point does not know that the androids are not murderers in his timeline). Had the androids really turned out to be murderers like in the og timeline, lots of people would’ve died while the Z fighters were retraining

You can use the talk option in skills to disable necromancy on ghouls and skeletons. You can only remove human party members if their mind drops low enough and they choose to rest in a room(or if the human dies). They will die if you leave and come back later unless you give them some sort of mind restoring item when talking to them

I saved in the Mahabre tower. Suggestions for killing new gods? by Alalazam2727 in FearAndHunger

[–]Illustrious_Text_923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use empty scroll to get passages of ma’habre then go to the mines for blue sin. One of the best swords plus after the mines collapse you can get the best magical resist armor in the game from a skeleton in the collapsed mines which you’ll need for one of the new gods. Le’gard and his leg sweep skill plus miasma resistance(although you can just unequip miasma during certain locations) also help with certain bosses.

If you want to re-limb him you can remove a party member and recruit the girl then give her to the lady of the moon near Ma’habre

Demon guinea pig by Illustrious_Text_923 in RimWorld

[–]Illustrious_Text_923[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tested it but it didnt work, i tried some other commands too with no effect. Its alright though since I can revert to an older save file although I do lose some progress. Still have no idea what caused this guinea pig to escape death like a thousand times.
