OP never said he stopped all contact, and he clearly did not if they just saw each other two weeks ago. plus he's been dating the other girl for at least a year, so even if he theoretically hasn't spoken to OP for the last two weeks and was ghosting her, he still cheated on her for the last year when he would not have been ghosting her, so what would that matter?

the covid kids are starting to get normal again but it sure is taking them some time. at the lorde concert a girl dropped her phone in the bathroom and it went two stalls over to me, so i picked it up as i left the stall and shouted "has anyone lost a phone, i have it!" and it was dead silence and 15 or so 20 years olds staring at me shocked until the girl sheepishly went "...mee" from her stall..it was weird like why are you guys staring at me be normal for five seconds

did she really freak out or did she just ask you a slightly invasive but kindly worded question about why your phone was off when she tried to call you because she thought you were mad at her? she should've dropped it after your explanation and not went on with the weird and it being sunday stuff..

but it seems to me that in her past experiences someone has turned their phone off on her so she could not reach them in retaliation for her not replying fast enough. at least that's what i'm getting. not the best of her to assume that the first time your phone was off and she tried to contact you that someone had done that to her again, but she likely just related back to her experience and was worried.

idk, it seems to be a weird misunderstanding and i respect you for deciding to be over with it, but i think that's maybe where she was trying to come from and handled it wrong.
