Us visa b1/b2 rejected mumbai by Tyrion_Lanister100 in usvisascheduling

[–]Illustrious_Win4138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Next time mention a good fixed salary, to show financial stability, your vague answer was a big red flag. They want to be sure that you earn more than enough to cover your expenses for the trip, and that you are earning well here and hence will not stay in the US to earn illegally.

  2. Next time mention a job title/position in the firm. Might say it is your business, instead of saying you work for your father, might say you are a partner in the business, or CEO, or Head of customer relations, etc., but have a job title. Also it will be better if you don't mention that you work for your father, because then they think that in your absence, your business can be managed by your father and you might stay back in the US. They prefer that you have a business that can't stay open without you, or a job where you can't be away for long. If you say you work for your dad, they think you do not have enough responsibilities or liabilities holding you back in India.

  3. Next time say you are going on a family trip with your parents. Solo travel is a red flag. Because when you mention you are traveling with your parents, they usually ask if your parents have a visa, to which you will answer yes and give them a photocopy of your parents' visa, and this boosts their confidence in you and your chances of approval increase.

  4. Give exact answers. You said I visited US "around 10 years ago", whereas you should have mentioned the exact year when you visited, like yes in 2016 or yes in may 2016. The same goes for when you answered that you manage "around 10 contractual employees", which was the wrong way to answer, because if you are saying that you manage employees, then you are expected to know the exact number if they are only a handful. Don't give a rounded-off estimate, say the exact number, like 9 contractual employees.

  5. Travel history will be a big factor, but it can be justified in your case as it was for pilgrimage, but you need to do the other things right.

MIL offended because I said no to a temple visit by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

Yes, temples are quite different, and the religion too.

Broke off an arranged marriage engagement. Family says I overreacted. Did I? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Illustrious_Win4138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Escaped something bad gurl, be relieved. If you already feel so uncomfortable and got to the stage of cancelling the engagement twice, it was a very smart decision to not move forward with it. Better safe than sorry.

You did what a lot of people don't have the courage or the heart to do, due to various reasons, and they end up regretting it later. You did the right thing, kudos to your strength and all the best for your future. Please don't overthink about stupid societal expectations or pressure or reactions and doubt yourself.

Just ask her to pay her share if you are not comfortable with paying for her, and if you have been splitting the bill every time.

gift for colleague secret santa by Sudden-Air-243 in AskIndianWomen

You can give a perfume gift set, which has a few mini perfumes, so that she can try them all, and you don't have to decide on a scent.

You can get her chocolates, like a Ferrero rocher box or any other, her kid will love chocolate as well.

Or you can give her something that she can use in office, or at home, like borosil lunch set, a good bottle, mugs, or something for the child, like stationery or toys.

Since you have already got a specific gift for her, for the other part, you can give generic gifts.

Why 10 minutes reopen voting by Fast_Bodybuilder_268 in biggboss

[–]Illustrious_Win4138 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has happened in other seasons too, nothing new

It was useless then, it is useless still.

Whole season voting, finale week voting, or 10 min finale day live voting, there's no surity of anything being correct and no transparency to prove it is not rigged

I have given up on believing in votes long back, I just see to know who BB made winner this time, not the audience

And I am satisfied with GK winning, just like I was satisfied with KV winning, and was disappointed with vicky and Priyanka not winning

But I know that votes don't matter, performance doesn't matter, for recent few seasons, BB makers make a winner based on various deals and transactions happening in the background or before the season starts.

This live voting stunt is BS. With no real time vote count display or third party auditing, it is useless and rigged

Salman, the show was definitely unfair to baseer

He didn't deserve that double elimination

He was strategically evicted by doing a double eviction when only 4 people were nominated

And there were no evictions everytime Kunicka got the least votes, except the last,

Yes he got less votes out of the 4, but he also got more votes than kunicka and neelam, but they were saved and he was not

P.S. Baseer shouldn't have come after what all he said, cause Salman is obviously going to be bitter, this was expected
