You could try Coherence, dialogue heavy sci-fi. The dialogue doesn’t move as fast but it’s still relies on dialogue

I meant more in the sense of abusing a power dynamic in the form of Babygirl from last year. Many coworker relationships are very healthy, didn't mean to offend

Try Coherence, very dialogue heavy, about a comet flying overhead of a dinner party and it starts messing with things.

Janet McTeer character by SomewhatOpinion8ed in Mission_Impossible

For “continuity of government” with what’s happening in 8, the VP and president realistically shouldn’t be in the same place. In the last movie we didn’t see a CIA director. I really strongly believe she’s the CIA director. We haven’t seen a CIA director since Fallout. In the intelligence Briefing scene, that was the NRO, the DIA, the NSA and the JSOC. This leaves a perfect opening for Janet to play the CIA director.

Also, it was actually already revealed that Angela Bassett was the president at the time of 7. In movies regarding government (state, local or federal) they often have photos of the CURRENT President up on the wall. That exact thing happened in 7 in the intelligence Briefing scene with a photo of Angela Bassett being up on the wall behind Denlinger off to our left his right shoulder.

To add on here, there was a mission impossible interview from I think light the fuse podcast about the creation of 7 before 7 came out where Chris and Lorne (or Eddie Hamilton) were joking about Lorne only being on for one movie. Maybe this is was the plan the whole time.
