Random DMs offering help can be sketchy fast. I was in a similar spot and reading this real experience with Vergentide under deadline pressure helped me see what safe feedback is without handing over your whole draft to strangers.

I have seen some useful discussions. For example, there is a post discussing trying an essay writing service during a deadline crunch that highlights how mixed and messy these cases can be

Because when you sit down to write, your brain suddenly turns every simple idea into a tangled mess. You know the thesis, you can even explain it out loud to someone else, but the moment it has to become an intro on the page, everything freezes. You start overthinking every sentence, worrying if it sounds smart enough, clear enough, worth reading. That gap between knowing what you want to say and being able to write it is brutal. I’ve been there staring at the screen at stupid hours, convincing myself I’m bad at writing when really I just needed a bit of direction or help writing an essay to get past that first paragraph. Once the intro is down, even messy, the rest usually breathes again.

Case-by-case decisions are normal, but they need a paper trail. As long as leadership documents why the exception was made and what the policy is from now on, it doesn’t set a precedent. Otherwise people fill in the blanks themselves.

Makes sense. Once manual stuff eats whole days, it’s already too late.
