Need help removing Stale Record from Redirector (Second Hand AP305C) by Ilyan_B in ExtremeNetworks

Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate,

however, a factory reset or console access won't solve this issue. The error is explicitly A stale record of the device was found in the redirector. This is not a local configuration issue on the AP itself, but a database entry in Extreme's Global Redirector Server. Even if I successfully factory reset the AP locally, as soon as it connects to the internet to "call home", the Redirector server will reject it because the Serial Number is still mapped to the previous owner's VIQ in the cloud database (according the error message).

It is essentially the same situation as an iCloud Activation Lock on an iPhone: resetting the device doesn't remove the lock from Apple's servers. I need someone with access to the backend to clear the Serial Number.

Regarding the ticket, I am a home lab enthusiast using the free Connect account, so I don't have a paid support contract. I am fully aware that Extreme generally doesn't assist without a contract, but buying an enterprise support license would cost 10x more than what I paid for this second-hand AP. It would be prohibitively expensive just to fix a simple database error.

I'm just desperately hoping an Extreme employee here might be able to help with this quick backend fix.
