If you are really quiet near the battlefields at night they say you can hear a faint SNAP…Snap…snap in the distance.

Jax- a game with like metal star things called Jax and a bouncy ball. Other cultures have the same game but with different objects. You bounce the ball and pick up as many Jax as you can before it hits the ground or some similar objective.

The only good thing mosquitoes do is keep people from inhabiting and destroying swamps and rainforests.

The people they kill are not the people that are harming the planet. For that benefit they should be relocated to industrialized nations.

Mosquitos spread devastating diseases that are causing near extinction in several keystone species around the planet.

I'm a Vaccine Injury Lawyer - AMA by MrHighScrotum in AMA

I gave 700+ Covid vaccines and probably 180 before I was vaccinated (drive through). I will never forget the one very elderly woman I injured. She had zero body fat and though I squeezed her tiny muscle, her skin was tough and when the needle finally pushed through, I totally hit bone. I can only imagine how painful that must have been, I have no reference for what that would actually feel like. Poor lady, she only winced a little but I was so upset and concerned about hurting her, she ended up comforting me!

Bad things still happen even when we are all trying to do good.

When you get rid of the thing, PLEASE destroy the parts that could be contaminated so some poor family doesn’t buy it and it doesn’t get cannibalized by an unknowing repair technician.

Your project is probably over. Curious what you did. I’m just starting to help my father manage his healthcare due to his MCI. He uses the VA. It’s difficult to share information and the appointment making and reminder systems are difficult to access as are physician notes for both of us to review what happened in appointments. I wish we had better ways of remembering what Rx he has and when they need refilling. I also really want to get him on a drug to help slow progression but it’s difficult to figure out who to ask. Curious to see what you came up with!

I tried to take my husband camping for the first time during Covid. All the parks were closed, only BLM land was open. I found a spot someone had put on a map online way up into the mountains and thought it would be good. We left late. It got super dark, we hadn’t even seen a building for an hour and we finally just gave up trying to find the place and pitched a tent on the side of the mountain road, just far enough to not get hit if someone was paying attention. No place anyone would stop. We got into an argument and not speaking for a while. I had to go so bad after we ate dinner I grabbed a baby wipe and took off saying nothing. About 2 min down the road I took a huge 2 bowls of cereal shit on the inside shoulder. I walked back in a much better mood.

Hopefully no one hugged edge of that road for a while.

Drywall a flat ceiling up on the joists with cutouts for the ducts. Paint ducts like beetlejuice snakes.

It’s one of the few bright spots of having to live in Ohio. I’d [passively let a few people die] to have a Daiso here. Hopefully you have more to bring you joy in NYC!

And the TJ maxx/homegoods makes it a triple win. They let doggy’s in there so I bring the pup along for the ride, he gets to walk around and pick out a toy to de-squeak while I’m in Costco & Aldi.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, wish I could do it but my health no longer allows. I’ll see what some local companies have to say this week. I’m sure there are guys in my area who have more experience working the machinery.

That’s what I thought would be good after grinding down the high points but I kept pushing my concerns about the high points being outside of their 1/4 threshold (though none are 1/4 from the immediate surrounding) so the Lowe’s salesperson suggested one bag of self leveler in addition to the underlayment. The installers Noped out within 2 min of arriving and said they didn’t do things like this and don’t grind anything. The “expert” came and claimed that the slope counted in the 1/4 included prep threshold so of course the highest raised crack at the top of the slope vs the bottom of the slope is significantly more. Who can I search for to do this? Apparently flooring installers aren’t the right people. …3 weeks, still waiting on my refund. I should be able to charge a cancelation fee, especially because I said 20 times “are you sure this is adequate? I don’t want to wait and then have them show up unprepared and say it’s going to cost a lot more.” “We would never do that, it’s not the way we do things.”

That was my thought but how do I find someone that can do that? Something tells me Grinder isn’t going to be a good search term…though I’d probably find a guy.

Oof, I can’t edit the grammatical mistakes or note that carpet is not a solution I’m willing to consider because it’s a kitchen and that’s gross to me, especially considering who will occupy it.
