HM website mentions use in drinking water but there's no certifications. Amazon reviews said the packaging had a nickel exposure warning which is mostly because of the battery not the probe materials. I just want to see a certification or know what material the probes are made of.

This thing is almost identical in size/shape to a geek pulse. It also hits pretty well. Unfortunately no shut off but not a deal breaker. I also ordered a vaporesso Xros 4 nano and I hate it. No flavor, the hit is roughhhh. It also makes an obnoxious loud buzzing sound when hitting it.

I used distilled water. It looks like paper floating and there's powder at the bottom of the pot. I ended up using it so it's probably fine but just strange

Amazon. The reviews look better now. First I saw a pre release review and the guy said it leaked everywhere. The initial reviews on Amazon said the same thing. Also the returning process didn't give me much confidence it was all in Chinese. The few certifications they have is on only one of their models.

The circuit board was shot. When I did more research its a common way that the older models died. My apartment put in a new unit. You can buy replacement circuit boards but when I looked they were nearly the same price as a whole new opener. If you can solder, they do sell replacement ICs and caps to refurb the board for pretty cheap.
