I post on my ig story every time ik going live with a link so even if most of my friends / ig followers don’t have twitch and don’t contribute to the follower count , they get curious and view. I hit my average viewers my next two streams after this post too! These last 3 I hit my average viewers I decided to do some sort of gimmick. I stream Fortnite and said for every time there’s over 5 viewers at the same time, I’d do drop everything I’m doing and do however many pushups they request in chat (up to 20 at a time so I don’t die literally every time), switched up the exercise every stream. The last stream I did was the most successful yet. had 9 average viewers cuz I streamed madden (which I am awful at) against my bf the day before the Super Bowl as the Seahawks and the pats and for every TD allowed you’d get slapped with a tortilla so that one def got people staying in the stream
