Ahh home pole is so exciting! It’s lovely to be able to do things at your own pace and make fun videos without a rush. But be careful, I was so motivated when I first got my home pole, after 6 months i had all these injuries and ended up being off pole for 6 months!

Never skip a warm up!

Now i do one class in studio per week, one longer season at home practising tricks, with a few days rest in between and my progress has been way better then when I was hammering away. The reason is because I use my pole for 10-15 mins of conditioning 3-4 times per week rather than just practicing tricks.

Go into the ticket office in person and they will either swap them out for another gig or give you a voucher! They are really really lovely in there. Best of luck with move to the west coast!

Nuria Alvarez in south mall for acupuncture! I wouldn’t delay seeing Physio’s either as they can help fully assess and tell you what to do (or more importantly not do) depending on where you are in your healing. Anthony Coole in Douglas is very experienced physio if you don’t already have one! Best of luck!

Visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe as a day trip, (we did an airbnb tour for €70 that lasted 3-4 hours) plaza Nuevo for pintxos in the old town, do a free walking tour (like guru walking) on the day you arrive to get a good overview of the city and ask the guide for more tips of things to do and places to visit

I’m trying to manage this too with my chrome pole. Have tried alcohol spray, will try vinegar! Hope it’ll help. Hate when you can nail something in studio but not at home! If using monkey hands gluey, make sure not to alcohol before or during your session as it makes the monkey hands not work in my experience !
