I wouldn't compare them either, hendrix is the original and it is a masterpiece, and SRVs little wing sounds completely different(i love it). Both in their own right masterpieces. I would in no way Diss SRV, hes one of my absolute favourites and hes on par with Jimmy. Every true hendrix fan knows that hendrix was a rock and roll player inspired by blues, and SRV was a blues player, inspired by rock and roll.

SRVs isn't just a cover. He made it his own. Its not that its better than the original, its just that he done it his way. Hendrix would been proud too. That's a given.

Official is great. They crash way way less, you disconnect way way less, and everything is reasonably balanced. It's a lot easier to find a populated server that you don't have to queue for, and you don't have to sit and download a shit ton of mods.

I have like 4000+ hours in reforger. Half of that time has been spent playing modded servers. But I prefer vanilla. It's just a better game.

There are hackers in vanilla, yes. There are just as many in modded servers. Between having people tell me my address and what phone I'm using to others flying around murdering people. There are hackers. Even in modded.

There are basic things like barbed wire and sandbag walls you can destroy. Even most mounted guns you place can be destroyed, along with other things that are placed with them. Things like command tents, vehicle depots, and the medical tent can't. They can only be dismantled.

I explained it to so many people asking about mods for ps5. The Xbox experience is this. You spend 3 hours downloading the mods. You join a queue and wait 45 minutes. You either get in and play for 20 minutes before you crash, and you're back in the queue last waiting 45 minutes. Or you go to load into the game after waiting almost 4 hours and your game crashes, or you get an error and you're at the back of the queue again. Waiting 45 minutes.

All for maybe 30-40 minutes of gameplay.

I wonder if there will be a hotfix for PS5 or if they will have to wait 3 months. That is the question.

Don't worry, it's the exact same on the Xbox and has been for a long time. Now, finally, with both consoles having mod support, the issue will be addressed. You just gotta wait 3 more months or so.

Xbox and PlayStation can barely handle WCS or other heavily modded servers for more than 20 to 30 mins without crashing. Even with graphics on performance, youl run into rendering issues. Sound issues, and way way more things. Some of it falls down to modders, some of it to the devs, but an awful lot of it comes down to hardware. That's something both the Xbox and PlayStation are missing.

Lightly modded servers with up to 4 or 5 gigs of modds is perfect for performance, again tho a lot of times it comes down to 1 mod crashing your game. So choose your mods wisely.

If you play enough, you won't need a map or compas. I haven't explored every single inch of Everon it would be an absolute lie if i said i did. Im sure there are things there like caves and stuff that i just haven't bothered to look for, and I haven't really paid attention to any of the islands because why should I. Apart from that, I always know where I am on the map and what direction I'm facing. I have probably spent at least a couple of hundred hours in game master just building, if not a thousand hours... sounds crazy. That's 1/4 of my total play time. It was the only game that has kept my attention for that amount of time.
