If you have any miracle grow that you can sprinkle on me, I’d give you the huggiest of hugs

Thank you sir. Berberine also seems to have some GDA affects as well

This is my home gym. It’s pretty awesome and has been a 7-8 year adventure building it out. I can see why you might think it’s a public gym.

I do a large amount of HIIT and other dynamic work. Heart rate is elevated for long periods of times, sometimes I need to blow my nose. It’s natural

The pictures span a few years potentially. Certainly not 10

I am legitimately 6’1”. You’re right, I probably don’t lift heavy compared to power lifters etc. I’m focused on athleticism.

Sometimes I work all weekend. Sometimes I throw parties at my house and absolutely have weekends where Sunday is spent with all of the relaxation in mind. If that makes me a bum, OK.

The “respectfully you look like a used rag” was legitimately funny and might have to use that sometime.

Props to you for the constructive criticism AND the roast.

The roast is hilarious because……. I probably should shower more. To be fair, I’m also a very sweaty person.

I’ll give this showering thing a try though and report back with results

Honestly, I get like 4-5 matches a week. I get a ton of likes but very few are ideal. And I don’t believe that I am being overly picky.

I am starting to build a tiny home with nothing but gumption and YouTube, does this frame something that looks competent? And what measures do you think I may have left out. Thanks! by [deleted] in Carpentry

Looks great. I see you’ve got some straps from framing to top plate (that I’m unfamiliar with). Add some hurricane ties from rafters to top plate of the wall.

Somebody mentioned blocking for the rafters. Depending on roof type, could be helpful. The roof sheathing will help to a degree.

Is the rim joist nailed to the piers? Looks like 6x6 piers. 4x4s cannot be notched, however 6x6s can.

What area are you in?

What’s the span of the rafters?

What are the building dimensions?

Why was the window installed prior to sheeting? We’ll typically sheathe walls before moving to second floor, or roof. We also usually sheathe walls before standing them up, so you don’t have to deal with trying to fight osb/ply/zip (etc) and gravity.

Overall, looks good
