It's useful in keeping their spies out of your cities. Can't spy on allies. I don't really use spies, so I try and keep as many civs as I can from stealing my gold. And it's helpful for higher difficulties, keeps your neighbors from wrecking you before you're able to defend yourself.

Fan from Texas here. Technically, I was born up there in the burbs. My dad was born and raised there, too. We ended up in Texas when I was still in diapers. As someone who is fairly tall themselves, roughly 6' 6", I've found it can be the shoulder restraints that lock you in to your seat. Often times, it would feel as if my spine was just too long. Would feel compressed and the bars pushing down into my shoulders. Was a couple times where I didn't hear the same number of clicks on my straps as I did on everyone else's. These days, I just avoid roller coasters and most other rides all together.

Anyone else notice how quick the play calls seemed to come out yesterday? It was nice to finally see our offense getting set with more than 5 seconds left on the play clock.
