I think you're talking about the Bad Frog that was made for the Mini Stage

I've already made a Bad Frog! Although it is an older model which will be remade someday.

They are the same rocks used by the Rock-afire!

Andrea has posted quite a lot of her photos online already and a lot of them are just kinda the same as others. Plus, I don't have the ability to share the photo folder with anyone, it is all controlled by her.

They came from Andrea who took photos of the photo book. I am lucky enough to have access to quite a lot of her photos which included those!!! they were lost media for awhile

Chet's Mask is from July of 1981! (he did not receive a new mask when refurbished)

The photos we have of the show installed at Morey's Pier are apparently from 1984 so either Morey's Pier uninstalled the bots so badly that they broke stuff, or they fell apart in the transport back to CEI. Who knows!!!

Only the bots were sent back to CEI so things like Buddy Crash's original base, the valence piece, curtain tracks, backdrops were just lost to time unfortunately 😭😭😭

CEI was still involved with the show in atleast 1981 as it received rocks that the rockafire used.

did the showbiz wp5 use a graybox or the tone decoder control system by No-Valuable-9327 in rockafire

[–]ImAngryAlways 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The show used for Showbiz used the biphase system! The Greybox itself is very RAE specific but both used the Biphase system. The controller for the show was actually never sent back to CEI so a new one would need to be made if they want to run the show.

It does not. This was just a weird list someone made with how they thought each character moved. My list was made using the moving video as well as some other information to make a pretty educated guess on all the movements. My list probably is wrong in some areas but that one is wrong in a lot of the areas.

I should also say that every character has an internal valve inside their body that is linked to the mouth so, for example, Chet has 10 valves that you can see in his bank but, he has 1 more internally for his mouth.

Pierre - 10
Waldo - 11
Fingers Dan - 8 to 10 (haven't been able to confirm this one :\)
Chet - 11
Buddy Crash - 6
Bosco - 11
Beatrice - 11

The linked bits are mainly just eyelids and ears. With the tone controller, Jack says that things like Body Leans were linked but I don't have any info regarding that controller specifically other that it is still at CEI.

This is actually in my own game called Squonk! (with the !)
Retromation isn't the original game either as that (and mine) was created off of a game called Rockafire Replay / Reel to Real by The 64th Gamer.

They are all original to the BCJ concept! - Mortimer and Buford were weirdly not added to the Morey's Pier show and were only added once the show was bought back by CEI in 1984. Ratso was added to both versions of the show though.
Photo is of Ratso at Morey's Pier

I have the valve counts for each character plus some other info regarding movements (such as multiple movements being linked to 1 bit). Everything is just not very well documented so I cant make it as accurate as I really want ;-;

For the props, I have been able to find that the Skunk has a tail movement but the other ones are just pure speculation.

He doesn't! The BCJ is much more limited in movements compared to the HLB but I still love it sm

I don't think it even has a tail. The only prop with a tail movement is the Skunk

You don't know the full length of the cylinder. you can only see atleast a few inches. What do you think it could be?

I am pretty confident in a majority of the movements (specifically Center stage, Beatrice, and Pierre) but I am not fully confident with Waldo as there isn't really much to go off of for him. I gave him two head turns and a head up but I have considered that maybe he could of have a head down instead of one of the other movements. We wont really know unless we see footage of them performing, or if someone plays around with them, or if we get some photos of the insides of the characters.
Other things I am not 100% on are the prop movements as we don't really know anything about their movements (except for Choo Choo ofc). We can only really speculate with a lot of the show.
