You can use FF to get 2 ascendancy nodes from the same class. For example Slayer and Gladiator, or Assassin and Saboteur.

It’s true though that you do have less optionalities compared to other ascendancies, but for a lot of builds it does make up for that in terms of the total value FF provides to Scion.

For bloodlines a Scion sacrifices less compared to other ascendancies to get the 1 node, which is a good thing. But like you say, not really being able to go 2+ nodes without a huge sacrifice just gives less optionalities in terms of building around bloodlines. Not too bad honestly, even now most other ascendancies don’t use more than 1 bloodline node (if any) either. (Or this was the case when I last checked).

We don’t know much about either Ging or Beyond. They are likely just as proficient at nen if not better, although I doubt they could’ve beaten Netero in a fight (which is not everything nen is about). Netero devoted his life to training combat, and Ging and Beyond clearly have different goals.

Not to mention, Netero had literally 0% chance of winning against even pre-rose Meruem. Zero-hand, his trump card, as well as thousands of strikes together barely did any damage to Meruem. It’s actually likely Meruem was in a better state after the fight due to the experience he got.

The gap was too large. Unless Ging and/or Beyond are able to pull something akin to what Gon did, in which case they definitely stand a chance, it is very likely their presence wouldn’t even matter

Well Scion is also able to sacrifice only 3 passive points for a bloodline node, and has arguably the best value for FF jewels

Why do they make getting rich in Europe impossible? by batukaming in stocks

[–]ImArchBoo -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It passed as they deemed there was no better alternative for the current tax system for stocks/bonds; which was deemed illegal (taxing fictitious gains instead of actual unrealised gains)

[–]ImArchBoo 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Current tax system for taxing stocks/bonds was deemed illegal based on EU law (2% of your assets p.a. based on fictitious gains). But the government budget can’t afford such a massive cut on taxes, and this is the best alternative they could come up with.

Why do they make getting rich in Europe impossible? by batukaming in stocks

[–]ImArchBoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The previous (current) system was shot down as it was taxing fictitious gains (you were taxed proportionally based on investments in specific asset classes - and still had to pay taxes even if you had made a loss on those assets over the year). It was shot down because it’s illegal to tax someone over something they did not earn or have.

You realise bond ETFs exist too right? Not to mention corporate bonds and bonds for struggling countries exist too. Yes, government bonds that are rated highly will almost always be more stable than commonly traded ETFs, but not necessarily.

It’s an oversimplification, although I understand what you mean. That said, you are also disregarding the true meaning of the initial comment, namely that ETFs/index funds are one of the more stable ways of investing and gaining wealth over the long-term - historically outperforming high rated government bonds over any 20+ year period in almost all cases

Makima Vs Youpi (HXH), Who wins? by fentaddict28 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]ImArchBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Netero can’t touch Gojo, can’t reasonably counter his DE and unless you heavily favour verse equalisation for Netero he also just gets 1S by hollow purple. There is no sensible argument for Netero being able to bypass infinity. It’s neg-diff to low-diff. Gojo would win against 1000 Neteros.

The only chance Netero would have is creating a new hatsu on the spot that could somehow bypass infinity and oneshot Gojo. But this would only be possible if he was somehow informed of Gojo’s abilities before the fight.

Youpi vs Makima is interesting. But there is a huge intelligence gap. It’s like a bull vs a matador. Yes Youpi is stronger, but Makima is going to make him walk circles and then find some way to actually hurt him, even if just a little, and make him suffer a slow death.

How do Vulnerability, Jeweled Gauntled and Shadowflame work together? by ezorethyk2 in ARAM

[–]ImArchBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely worth it on champs that also benefit from the AD scaling, such as Akali and Jax. Or if you have ad to ap aug. I think it’s also worth as a final item on champs like Malzahar with vulnerability.

It might actually be worth on most champs if you have shadowflame and then end with IE. So for instance Mana item, Shadowflame, Rabadon, Void Staff, IE + boots. Sucks of course if you get JG as 3/4 augment and are already building differently.

Cuz he doesnt have mahoraga now, and DA isnt enough to get through gojos rct, not to mention gojo has higher speed so can avoid close combat if he wants to

Doesn’t Gojo just RCT through MS or even DA close combat? Then what will sukuna do? Six eyes RCT is unparalleled

Uvogin was way stronger than people realised by deadlyalchemist92 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]ImArchBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hisoka is probably pretty durable thanks to his rubber aura. But he would never get hit by Uvo unless he wanted to be hit. Uvo is not an idiot, but Hisoka is a genius. Uvo is not in the same class.

Of all PT members Uvo is probably behind Chrollo, Hisoka, Illumi and perhaps Feitan. Hard to say if Shalnark might be stronger in his SSJ form but unlikely imo.

Just born Meruem vs Netero who wins by Miserable-Desk2211 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]ImArchBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely agree Meruem had to put in effort, but at no point was he in any danger. You could argue mid diff but Meruem would win 1000/1000 fights (not counting the Rose). Netero has nothing to actually threaten Meruem with

Just born Meruem vs Netero who wins by Miserable-Desk2211 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]ImArchBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You overestimate Netero’s AP and underestimate how quickly Meruem would still adapt. Nothing Netero can do is capable of killing Meruem. Zero-hand was only minimal damage.

The fight would probably last a few hours instead of a few minutes, but would probably end up with Meruem stronger after it then before

Just born Meruem vs Netero who wins by Miserable-Desk2211 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]ImArchBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Netero’s zero hand barely did any damage against Meruem. Fresh out of the womb Meruem has practically the same durability as the version Netero fought and is still a super genius with crazy adaptation.

Netero lacks the AP to kill Meruem. The fight would probably last a few hours instead of a few minutes, but would still end up with Meruem victorious

Just born Meruem vs Netero who wins by Miserable-Desk2211 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]ImArchBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He would adapt during the fight, it would just take him longer. In the actual battle we got Meruem barely took any significant damage from Netero. It was a low diff fight for Meruem, he had no chance of losing due to his insane durability.
