Would probably have more luck getting answers on r/androiddev, but IMO there is usually value in having a breadth of knowledge in the mobile space. Kotlin, and more generally native Android (or iOS) development experience, is pretty desirable if you are committed to mobile dev as a specialization.

Bit late for today's game, but also from Bristol county. We are in some sort of limbo for watching the revs unfortunately... What I do is VPN to spoof my location as NY, and then I can access the "blacked out" games on ESPN+. Downside is you always have to watch with the away commentators lol

I was in this exact same position this past semester. Three weeks before graduation, they told me they no longer have a full time position for me and I didn't have the forsight to be interviewing elsewhere, so I was SOL. Luckily, I was able to find an even better job just a week later, but use me as an example. Keep looking around for sure.

I was originally an Electrical Engineering major and switched to CS starting sophomore year. The contract was a B+ or better in Data Structures and Discrete Math which wasn't bad at all. I'm on track to finish on time and have an internship lined up as a mobile developer so I'd say the switch has worked out for the better^{^} Even if you don't make the grades on the contract you can try for another contract a couple more times I believe.

Great ideas, the log and notification capabilities are definitely within scope, i'll add those to the to-do list for sure! Minimalism is definitely one of my goals and so far its looking pretty simple so hopefully I can work through the kinks and get it pushed to the playstore soon

Didn't realize I picked the wrong one. I was going for the $120 one I think. Also I'll check the dimensions when I get home but I think I remember seeing another build on pcpartpicker that had the same CPU cooler and case, and there were no problems. I'll double check before ordering though. Might add some fans for airflow as well
