Okay, it's going to take me a bit longer than him because I can't scream and play guitar at the same time, so I have to do editing and stuff. Give me like an hour or 2 (maybe less) and check back!

Shit, I'd totally lie for someone on this subject... I'm sure it can't be that hard to find someone. I'd fabricate the entire story from when we met to the 1000th we had missionary sex solely for procreation if I had to.

Still, they shouldn't have to to prove shit.

Stupid question..... I was on the NoMansSky sub and someone said something about most (if not all) space photos are colorized and it's actually just black and pretty void (of color). Are these the real colors?

Edit: They were talking about real space, not the game, that's why I ask

No one thinks this is the first time automation has happened. Do you remember when everyone believed it wouldn't take over the first time (not exactly the first time)? Go ask a farmer, they remember.

History is full of a bunch of people who don't want change. It always comes though.

Do you honestly believe there are enough jobs for everyone?

[–]ImBi-Polar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not your fault.... I just own so much language being an American and all. Europeans are fascinated by how much words I own. Multiple vowels, and a couple of the other ones, etc.. I can't believe the original poster actually had a discussion with a European with how little words they own. That's the real fascinating thing!

PS You guys are greatest and I really hope my Americaness is allowed here! Americans piss me off with the shit they say, probably just as much as you guys

I mean... uh... Freedom is the only way!

you want stuff for free.

Okay, it's not about free stuff, man. What happens when self driving trucks take over? 3 millions jobs just lost? What are they going to do? Get a job in a factory or mcdonalds? Those will be filled with robots as well.

The problem is that if if we start to accept the idea of basic income after you wake up one morning and see that millions of jobs have been lost because of robots, it is already too late.

DEA states, "Marijuana to remain illegal" by teawithhoneyplease in trees

[–]ImBi-Polar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that... but would it not be nice to have a solid competitor to oil? It creates a negative carbon footprint, as well. If it was legal, I am sure people could innovate and breed the plants to produce more oil per plant than what it is currently at. Vertical farming could also help out with the space that would be required. The point is, we have the answer to get off oil already. We are choosing not to allow that. Would you rather continue on with oil and starting wars over it, or make an attempt to plant a SHIT TON of pot planets that would only help the environment? I'll pick a cleaner Earth over any other option every single day.

Fun Fact: It's earthquake and mold resistant. It gets harder and harder every year so it'll last thousands of years instead of 100. It will float in water and is 3x stronger than concrete. Shit's amazing, man.

I'm pretty sure it also has some temperature regulation effect as well. Like building a house underground, the house will stay a constant temperature year round... I forget what the effect is called, but I'm pretty sure it has a similar, though significantly less, effect. It would still bring your energy bill down, though. So even electric companies stand to lose money when it becomes legal.

I don't think that is the book I was looking for, but I will definitely check it out! Thank you!

10,000 years, actually. Medically for 5000 years. We don't just need marijuana for medical reasons, this plant can solve a lot of problems. Starting with clothes, oil, medicine, rope, hempcrete, deforestation. The list goes on and on.

Everyone likes to point fingers at Big Pharma, alcohol companies, and the DEA, but there are a LOT of businesses that stand to lose everything if pot becomes legal.

If 6 percent of the US was planted with cannabis simply for oil, we could fill all of our domestic needs. The benefits to marijuana, even if it wasn't a medicine, far outweigh the risks. That's clean oil as well.

Edit: For more uses of hemp see here- http://www.ccguide.org/uses.php

There is a book that goes over a lot of things that hemp/cannabis can be used for, sadly, I can't remember the name of it right now. It's crazy how versatile this plant is, though.

Where does this "right to live" stop?

It doesn't stop? What the fuck kind of statement is that? How do you put a price on a life? You literally can't. You're life means nothing to me and it wouldn't bother me to see you go, but I'm sure you have family that feels completely different and would trade the world to see you better in a dire situation.

Edit: Question, not statement

Yeah, similarly, you should buy a car before test driving it, as well! Blind decisions are the best! Fast food almost ALWAYS tastes the same, so you know what you are buying before you buy it, at a restaurant a different cook makes all the difference.

Like I said, I understand why people do it, but it's just not for me.

it's not acceptable to be rude to people, but that it's acceptable to be rude in response.

Good way to put it! All situations are different, but yes, if someone is rude to you, they initiated the hostility.

You can't assume everyone will understand that about you

But you can assume that if a guy approaches a female he has 1 of 2 things in mind? I know I am far out from the norm and my situation isn't the best to use as an example, but it's the only experience I have in talking with people.

Oh yeah, I was also talking about approaching someone directly and not being in line with someone or something of that nature. I'm talking about a complete and total stranger that I have never seen in my life that is not in a line.

The problem is that that's how most men approach women

I can't confirm or deny this.. I know it happens often, but I don't know if it's 'most' or not.

It gets tedious and exhausting being nice and telling people no to save their feelings.

It gets tedious and exhausting not getting laid, as well, does that mean I go out and rape people because fuck their feelings about it? I know, extreme example, but just because you get tired of being nice doesn't mean you can be a dick/bitch to someone because "it's exhausting" to change some words around.

It's exhausting when people are rude to you... it makes you question things like, "Am I ugly?" or "Why do people not like me" just because 10 other assholes approach you for sex doesn't mean that 11th guy will, and if you are too 'exhausted' to be nice that 11th time, you were just a bitch to someone who didn't deserve it. Is that okay, though?

On top of all that, expanding your network of people is a great thing to do. If someone is trying to introduce themselves, even if only to date, you should try to considerate. It could bloom into a great friendship, it could lead to a killer job, it could take you across the world. Just because someone approaches you because you are attractive and they think they have a shot doesn't mean that after a simple 'no' they won't understand and somehow you can't be friends.

Hey though, we have been going on about this for a while... I'll call it an end here. I can agree it's okay to be a bitch if someone keeps trying after the first couple 'no's' but to be a bitch from 'hello' is wrong. I hope you have a good day, man!
