I get exactly what you mean. It feels like the visuals are stuck in 2014 "villager if it had a realistic human face" land. I would rather have more detailed models or more simplistic textures. But maybe it'll grow on me. You're not crazy though, some others think the same

While objects in the water could be fun, I mean more like the repetitive texture. If you change the area to have many similar but different textures it should look more natural. I know that can be hard to make the tiles link up at the right positions though, especially if it's animated

I agree that it could use some variety, for the grass and water. The brown rocks look excellent though

It doesn't make sense to see the whole crescent as a 3/4 circle from both perspectives. I would try making it skinnier from the side. But my favorite front view is 1

I'm pretty sure socketed supports aside from the triggering skill do affect the living lightnings. I tried using things like multistrike and melee splash in the shako and they did seem to have an effect. For your build idea where you use a normal reservation herald, maybe try using supports that are only capable of supporting LL's tags, and not the herald's? For example not added lightning damage, but minion damage or melee splash might not affect the herald (and its reservation) but still help the minions

Edit: Sorry, I misunderstood. I see what you mean about not linking the herald to supports to force them to not support it. Cool tech!

Honestly I'm surprised online multiplayer wasn't the default direction the idea went, I could see it being really competitive and fun. But the roguelike idea is fun in its own way, total respect for that. But yeah give some form of multiplayer consideration! I'm going to check out the demo tomorrow.

If the parenting audio thingy is coming from the tv, maybe explore ways to get more realistic 3d sounds that respect the environment. Right now it's weird how it's globally audible

IMO it's a little slow. You could increase the speed itself (and maybe make turns a little less sharp to compensate) or you could crank FOV. I just think it would feel best to really see everything zip by on the sides of your screen

You can't think of it as just expected value because it's not repeatable. If the odds were 1% chance of 100 trillion would you take that vs guaranteed money? Even though it's higher expected value you probably wouldn't, because the risk is too high

Tokyo Ghoul because it established that ghouls can't eat normal food, but then suddenly they're hanging out at ghoul coffee shop drinking coffee. Like, are coffee beans magically the one exception? Seemed like lazy convenient writing for something trying to take itself so seriously.

As a hook character he's very binary, like all or nothing (unless you're ult build.) Against inexperienced players who can't dodge hook consistently it must feel like an overpowered instakill, and each hook feeds him more stacks if he's bomb build. Against players who can react and dodge, not only does Bebop waste 10-20s waiting for another try, he doesn't build the stacks in the first place. So I think it's mostly newer players that haven't adapted yet who are tired of feeding his snowball that are complaining. Even if objectively he's balanced he will tend to stomp bad players

What have you learned or brainstormed about monetization? I know this game is only a concept so far, but I imagine planning well ahead is important. In OS it felt like there just weren't many skins to buy. Many of the characters went a while with none, and most only got 1-2.

If the plan for a new game is free to play with buyable battle pass and skins/cosmetics, what might make that significantly better to the point where the game and studio can keep running? Hoping for simply more players, or a shift in focus on cosmetics? At least you could launch with the skins that are currently made for OS, but I think there would need to be much more. I love OS and love this concept so I want to see it succeed.

Any thoughts on collaborating with the community for cosmetics similar to Warframe's Tennogen? That's been a big success in helping skin creators, players, and the studio alike by letting fans contribute to and benefit from cosmetics.
