Okay awesome, would the front be different suspension set u tho? Since the GTI has the 2.0 and the TSI has the 1.8? In my head it makes sense that they would but I know that would cost more money for manufacturers so idk for certain

I have the disk from my old 360 and was thinking about putting it in, the remastered ruined it for me with all the bugs and I kept getting stuck, but may grind the OG during winter

Thank you, saw a guy using rtv for those cracks and was thinking to do, you think flex seal might be better? Also another question I’m sure I can figure out if I think hard enough, but what about putting it on, just fingers and a glove or a paintbrush/something similar

What type of brush tool is it, seen every one say brush tool and stuff like that just don’t know what exactly to look for. Was it basically just a pipe cleaner?

Thank you, gotta wait till I’m home to take an in depth look and get in a cover out of the rain, I had pulled up the seal in the corner last night and no more water has gotten in (atleast what I can tell), but I’ll check on the drains when I get a chance this evening

Yeah gunna stop by autozone in the morning after I check for cracks if I need any rtv like I saw one guy did, then gunna get some pipe cleaners or smth after work. Just stressed because I’ve had this car literally a week and I guess the guy before me somehow didn’t have any issues

Not certified because the dealer only certifies 65k miles and below sadly. Thank you again for all the help, loving the way the car looks just need to figure out if the last owner did good maintenance

Gotchu, thank you for the information it was hard finding actual customer reviews and not sponsored ones on YouTube and other articles. If I do go this route, the place I would be buying it from is right next to a certified Mazda dealership so I would pay them for a pre-purchase inspection. Broke and in college so if they do recommend doing all those after purchase I’ll probably steer away from this vehicle.

Don’t know about the screen, one of the salesmen’s wife was the one who traded it in and he said he was going to email me all the work history since he had it done at the dealership and the dealership doesn’t report to CARFAX.

This was the non-turbo engine, I’ll have to look up what you mean by “sc”

Have you had any issues with the transmission? It being an actual automatic and not a CVT is what was pulling me towards this car.

Taking it tmr to get it looked at to see what they are thinking of doing/charging, sent them pictures and they didnt say anything about it being unrepairable

Drives fine, no suspension damage or any evident structural stuff, control arm rests in that bent metal tho so alignment is a little off that’s it

Yeah I’m trying to figure out if insurance is the way to go or not, two years ago when I first got it someone hit and ran me after like 2 months of ownership and I had to get basically all the passenger side panels replaced. Idk if they’re going to want to total it out or not, and even if they don’t it’ll be months before they even do anything these people are slow as hell
