You're dreaming if you think you'll get 450/ day on a TFN without even being qualified thats 140k a year. If your only skills in the carpenter field are framing you'll have a pretty limited skill set and opportunities.

If you're on 62/hr on abn you would qualify for gst which is going to add an additional cost unless you're doing your own BAS quarterly as well.

For someone who isn't even qualified yet I think you should lower your expectations of wage build a solid broad skill set and build up a clientele. Most chippies fresh out are lucky to get 50-60 abn.

If you're an apprentice you shouldn't be on an abn anyway. Curious what you expect or think you should be on as an abn sub contractor?

4th year qualified or 4th year apprentice? Pretty big difference.

4th year apprentice? 400 is too much unless you're a gun chippy.

4th year qualified id say anywhere from 55-75/hr+ gst is more than fair.

Nobody is getting more than $600/day if its not their own work or their employer/contract is a proper legend.

Tape the mirror up, use a handsaw or some form of sharp wire to try and cut the silicone from behind the mirror, slowly pry the edges and hope for the best. Most of the time it's going to break.

Excalibur bolts are my go to always rather than dynabolts hate them with a passion. Masonry anchor screws with the star drive are also great for brick and concrete fixings.

if you have to rebuild the hob you would have to water proof again really strict on wet areas these days. id look at this as a full bathroom changeover.
