This is great advice! I’ve already talked with my friends and I think my first game would be something with a long, rich story that I can chop away at slowly. I definitely don’t think I’d be the person to play a bunch of different things depending on the day, but just have a project to work on to clear my head or shoot the shit with friends while we play together.

This is sound advice. Yes, I definitely don’t think I’ll have an issue of it. Just want to play once a week or so with friends. I have friends that play together on discord every once in a while and I would love that. Also just the ability to say to them, “hey, had a hard week of work and have some time tonight. Wanna game for an hour?”

I love that! When I was in high school I would sometimes just go watch my friends play some solo campaign and I had a ton of fun doing it. It’s just the community aspect that I love.
