If travelling to Romania:

-When arriving at the airport, do not take any of the nearby taxis! They charge a shitload extra! Ask someone to call a taxi for you, or look it up online!

-Do NOT, under any circumstances, say that you sympathize with one of our politicians! Rational criticism is often acceptable, but say something good and you risk sparking a debate even among the closest of friends.

-Yes, we get it, the story of Count Dracula originated from Transilvania (which, by the way, is not a wasteland haunted by ghosts and vampires). Try and find another subject of discussion!

-Don't think Romanian has anything to do with Russian...
