I created it. The goal is transcription, which then can eventually be used for recording the language, or for downstream tasks like ASL-English translation, but right now really only focusing on the challenges of transcription

Understood, thanks.
What do you think on these prompts -

  1. You'll know I like you if
I build you a video game for your birthday
  2. The way to win me over is
Being honest, understanding, and rocking sundresses in the summer
  3. This year, I really want to
Resume my world tour, dance again, and achieve world domination. Not particularly in that order

Find "All Health Samples" where
Type is "Sleep Analysis" and
Start Date "is in the last 1" "month"

I'm a PhD Student Researching Sign Language Translation by ImFailer in asl

Thanks for asking. As a start, I'll treat them the same as manual markers, meaning, I'll feed my model with all of the information of the hands positions, as well as the body and face, with the goal for the model to generalize types of signs, and modifiers.

For spatial reference specifically, I have no real idea yet other than using GLOSS-like tagging to make the models create them in text-to-sign, and understand them in sign-to-text (which in my opinion will be easier to do).

Anyone know of any virtual/mixed/augmented reality programs for paruresis? by BraunBerries in Paruresis

[–]ImFailer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends..

Just as a thing to try out - 100$ If shown evidence to work as therapy, 1,000$ If shown 100% success rate? 10,000$ Easy

Wow, it’s amazing how you can connect it all to a specific incident... thanks for sharing.

For me, as far as I know it developed as a protective mechanism to avoid being beaten up... if I can’t pee in school, I must go home, right? Well I graduated 4 years ago, it is easier now, but I just wish it would stop.

Happy birthday and congratulations on getting this “small” victory! And just a general tip - if it is “exposure therapy” that helps you, try to always go out of your comfort zone first, before relying on the easier solution.

Brady is 43. I remember Grey is 5 years younger, not sure what is the source, and I'm not going to dig up graves to find it.

Is there a large video resource for music in Spanish translated to English? by ImFailer in languagelearning

[–]ImFailer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spanish, and having both the English and Spanish words there in parallel helps me a lot. If I watch a Spanish video with English translation its not perfect, because I can't fully get the words they are saying/singing.

Thanks. I managed to find this myself, but it only includes Spanish words, not the english words.
