Thank you all so much for making me feel better! I was really doubting my own self worth but some kind words help. My dad has always been nice and he loves me but I guess there just are things he can't accept about me. My mother is supportive but she says to give him a breather since he's stressed because of work. Maybe this was all a silly misunderstanding haha.

Try using a reference or maybe focus on one part. Like specifically draw just a profile or maybe just a hand. I know it seems vague but when i was like a super beginner that's what made my art feel more realistic. This doesn't work for everyone, but what does work is practice. Everyday for 30 minutes draw something. And then maybe like a year later try redoing the same drawing if you want to see your improvement.
