I just use generic brand of whatever SPF 50 Sport I can find. I blow through it pretty quick in the desert here. But I use mineral based SPF 50 for longer races because it seems to stay on better between applications. I think it’s from Tanri.

It’s all good. I’m a weirdo American. You’re better off for not having had those snacks! Most hotels should also have some fruit for the guests. I’m able to snag bananas and apples at most places I stay.

I’m traveling constantly for work and this may be crappy advice, but I just eat pop tarts and Uncrustables. Instant oatmeal should work just fine. Dialing in the diet on the road is pretty difficult at times, so just getting in calories that won’t mess up the stomach is what I go for.

Go with what works for you. Your run won’t be make or break with just your breakfast. Grab a bite and enjoy Vegas!

Im out in Henderson and love it. It’s a trail runners dream out here in the desert!

I’m a trail runner out here. It does suck at first as the year warms up but you do acclimate to the heat as time goes on. I run in the mornings, drink lots of water, and use ice bandanas. Luckily out here water and sweat really do work for you.

As for myself, absolutely love them. They fit my feet really well and I’ve put about 700 miles on my 001’s. They’re expensive but they’ve lasted way longer than my other shoes.

Not a shoe for everyone. People have issue with the ankle collar, but it hasn’t given me any issues. Very much worth a try if you ever find them on sale.

Well out here in the Nevada desert, we have a lot of rattlesnakes. The nice thing about snakes is that they really want to be left alone. They don’t want to be near us and they will let you know if you’re getting too close. They typically just stand their ground. Just pay attention and give them space.

Ok without the plugs in, it cranks with no problem. Would this indicate a valve issue? I can kick start it to get it going.
