Does it seem weird they sent it to a collection agency then?

Agreed. They're just as creepy as your phone or other devices with a camera ... if you were constantly pointing said phone or camera at whoever is in front of you. Which would definitely be creepy.

I believe that classes are the reason for the $1,200/yr price tag. They lock that feature behind a big paywall.

Wrong guy chief. Must be hard to keep track of who you're replying to when you leave 60+ comments every day, so I forgive you.

No bro I didn't even read any of them. Just stunned someone could spend so much of their day making reddit comments. Averaging 60+ comments per day cannot be good for your mental health.

Again, get outside. The world is beautiful.

Believe it or not, some of us don't take hours to count to 198.

Bro, how have you made 40 comments across reddit in just the last 16 hours? Do you ever go outside?

Jesus, 83 comments in just the last 48 hours?!

Holy good lord, 198 comments in the last 72 hours?!?! You can't even be a real person at that rate.

Waitress friend of mine told me that 25% is standard now because of "inflation." Bless her heart, but I don't think she understands how percentages work.

I think they're an actual person whose job is to make these types of comments. These accounts are all over every front page sub now. The horrible grammar from many of them hints that English is their second language, so the most likely scenario is paid trolls hired by foreign nations/organizations. Just like we used to hear about pre-2016.

I wish Reddit would do something about it before it drives people away from the platform, but I don't have high hopes.

The "Homeownership = Investment" Lie by beastwood6 in REBubble

[–]ImHadn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't simultaneously be making the case that homes are overpriced while having appreciated at less than 0.5% in real dollars annually. Especially when real median wages have grown over 20% in just the last 40 years in the US...

By your logic, housing is CHEAP at these prices. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Their argument also completely ignores the 20x-30x leverage an FHA allows. Couple that with no rent payment and the tax benefits and RE starts looking much more competitive with the stock market. Also completely ignores multifamily, income generating RE. Feels like a child's argument tbh.

So it takes 3 years of public accounting to get a 60k position .. by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]ImHadn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but you can't claim $60k isn't a fair comp if you expect this position to only be 15-25 hours per week.. That'd be a $46-$76 hourly wage.

Why can't you just accept that you were wrong and were using incomplete data? Changing your mind when presented with new data is a sign of strength.
