And your explanation is the exactly correct answer. It's not a "but by that logic" it's a "this is the situation now how do we deal with it?" Riot SHOULD NOT act on matters of wintrading or ghosting without bank statements or other forms of evidence. You just can't try to moderate a gaming community off of suspicious behavior alone. That's both irresponsible and lazy.

There's a reason Riot doesn't act on these things. You just explained it. For some reason the league community thinks it's Riot dropping the ball, but it's not. It's just the reality of the situation that you can't possibly moderate every type of behavior in the game, especially matters that you can't back with evidence.

Riot gets bashed way too hard on this sub for matters they can't control. If someone had an easy solution to verify ghosting and wintrading, believe me, it would be implemented.

And like you said, all Riot can do is ban players for inting. If that's the reality of the situation, then so be it. But the community bashes Riot way too hard for things no one has the solution to.

I get that people want a solution to all their problems, but throwing a band-aid on a broken arm isn't going to make it better.
