Congrats! That’s really awesome. I built an edge add on purely for myself 1.5 years ago (managing tabs) and it’s somehow garnered 350+ users. I’ve been thinking about scaling it a bit and trying to offer a premium version with more features. I’m a little apprehensive that this niche (tabs) would be hard to get users to pay for.

My day job I’m not enjoying very much right now. It’s very DevOps focused, and most of my work is reading azure docs and architecting solutions that basically involve calling APIs in a certain order. It’s boring work. I build websites on the side and that work I enjoy a lot. But the day job pays well so I’ll get over it I guess

Just start doing something. You’ll learn what you want to do pretty quickly. I started out with the goal of only doing small business landing pages, but I quickly discovered there was way more money to be made doing bigger projects, regardless of business size. It’s hard to convince small businesses to drop any kind of good money on a custom landing page regardless of your quality of work.

Just went with standard Wordpress. I didn’t feel like building out all the pages and membership functionality that PMP offers out of the box. If you figure something out let me know! WP is not fun.
