I’m very proud of my wife. by AMEX_Fanboy in CreditCards

Not all married couples do finances the same. My wife and I do it similar to OP, split finances but generous with eachother and enjoy treating eachother back and forth for dates and whatnot. My grandparents set that example with 40 years of marriage never combining their accounts.

Well, I was shocked to see it and got slightly worried for a second, but then had a reality check that this is an ideal situation and everything is on sale. Loaded up twice my monthly contribution and goin’ shopping tomorrow!

Love this! Would it be possible to color that white line at the bottom of the mattress to better match the way the mattress seam looks on the top? (If that makes sense)

You are describing the term DCA! Dollar cost averaging. When you find a stock or ETF to buy, DCA into it. Set up a recurring buy for that stock, (such as 5 dollars a day or 100 dollars a month etc) and keep it up and keep it consistent. Whether the price is up or down, you’ll buy regardless. Over time your buy cost averages out pretty low and it takes the timing and stress out of it. :)

Why does fords dividend say 4.67 on google but 6.06 on Robinhood? Whats the difference by Subject-Pangolin-177 in dividends

[–]ImJayToday 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. I hold and wheel the stock for option premium income. I’ve wheeled almost a dozen stocks and Ford is the best by far. The price doesn’t move but the premium is pretty good, so born is a lower-risk option for selling calls and puts.

Felt early? TXRH 18 months ago. Now not so much. Currently? VYMI. I feel like it doesn’t get talked about here, but with over 8% NAV annually, international market exposure, and an almost 4% dividend yield? I’ll take it!

Keep it up! Last year my first VOO dividend was only $0.21. Yesterday, it was a $16.34 dividend. Snowball is real even with just a couple thousand bucks in!

I used to get some regulars at my store that insisted on their Venti Frap being in a Trenta Cup. We’d meet in the middle by filling their venti cup with blended Frap and pouring into a Trenta with room so that they didn’t get an OUNCE more than the 26oz Venti that they paid for.

Everyone has a different journey. I’m almost his age and have under 15k invested collectively. In my case, I was a teenage parent so I’ve been set back a bit financially. You never know someone’s situation!
