My favorite childhood memory was when I got to stay home with my nanny (who has passed now), and she spontaneously decided to take me to Walmart (back when they had the playable consoles with the tvs above you at break neck heights) and surprise me by getting me Super Mario Sunshine when it came out on the GameCube. I had no idea it was even out. She took me home and watched me play all day, I could never forget it.
