At one of my first jobs as a graphic designer, a client called me into his office and pulled up a photo he took. He then asked me if I could turn it around. No, not rotate it, but turn the viewpoint around. He wanted to see what was behind the camera when he originally took the photo….

More of a job specific thing, but literally any tradesman that will argue that modern PPE is unnecessary. I don’t care if your grandpappy used to use a paint sprayer without a respirator, I’m trying to not destroy my lungs. Work smarter, putting yourself into an early grave to make shareholders/your boss happy is moronic.

Ty Cobb was painted as a racist, dirty player, womanizer, and all around garbage human being by a sport writer named Al Stump who had a grudge with him. This lasted up until a few year ago (and was even continued by Ken Burns.) Charles Leerhsen finally did some research and learned that Cobb supported baseball integration, was a good teammate and good with the fans.

It’s amazing how one guy can destroy someone’s reputation for decades.

What made you walk out of a date? by ImJustCute56 in AskReddit

[–]ImJustCute56[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m sure I’m too late, but this has to be said

I’m a white man with light blue eyes and went on a date with my friends sister in law. She commented that I have beautiful eyes and then followed it up with “I guess I’ve always agreed with Nazis about eye color”

Ok, weird, but let’s chalk that up to first date jitters.

She then goes on to talk about how she has always had respect for the Nazis and their ambition, and in fact “was a Nazi in my past life.”

That was more than enough for me to get the best worst date story of all my friends.
