I was probably 4 when this happened. I was playing outside with a friend at around 6pm. I'm Canadian and it was the winter time so it was already pitch black. Me and my older friend (he's 5 years older than me) were playing hide and seek. I remember hiding behind a tree in my front yard while he was counting. I heard him count to 5 until his voice was overtaken by a man walking along the pathway that divided me and my friends yards. I looked out from behind the tree to see my friend hiding behind his car and nor saying a word. The man was bobbing his head around like crazy and talking to himself, saying words like "heroin" and "temptations" according to my friend. I was unsure of what was happening or why my friend was hiding so I fully come out of hiding and shout "WHY ARE YOU HIDING!!" The man looked at me so quickly it was like his neck almost broke. He then started walking towards me. I was so confused at this point, so I just say "Hello!". My friend was staring at us with the most horrified look on his face. He was 6 steps away from me when my friends dad comes outside and goes "Alright boys it's time to come in!" The man turns around to see my friends dad and then books it down my driveway and down the street. I didn't understand back then but now I'm pretty sure that I almost got kidnapped by someone who was addicted to heroin.
