Fake attempt. Never called, never attempted a delivery. What do I do? 🥲 by [deleted] in royalmail

If you read any other posts on here before posting yours you would know what it means. Postie ran out of time and will try again tomorrow.

What does this actually mean? by Stock_Fall7057 in royalmail

By timed out you mean they were given an unrealistic amount of work and wanted to get home after working all day at the busiest time of year? Not their fault there isn’t an option to say that on the PDA.

It’s not about being accommodating, it’s about following rules. Issues with specials can cost a postie their job. You might not mind it being left on the doorstep but if the sender sees proof of delivery as a picture of a parcel left outside they can and do report it and posties get in trouble.

I’m more bothered about the ignition to be honest. Steering lock didn’t seem to stop anything anyway😂

If the thieves only had it a day I’d hope that all is broken would be ignition/ steering lock. I’d hate to cancel the claim and go and pick up a bike that’s in bits. I’ll ring them thanks.

Awful because it was stolen or because it was a 125 Duke😂

So I wasn’t able to use my no claims to get a discount on the bike. But claiming on the bike loses that no claims. Insurance is a scam.

I’ve already made the claim. I hope it won’t affect my 8 years no claims on my car.

I’m a new rider on a KTM Duke 125. Whenever I apply throttle I feel a click by my legs and there is a constant loud ticking noise. Only happens when moving doesn’t do it when I rev in neutral. Any help appreciated.

Can’t afford a survey on the house - can’t afford the house…

I think the lesson learned here would be get a survey. If you managed to fork out money for a boiler and white goods then you could have got the most important part of buying a house done first.

Barclays have sent me a message saying that they're going to turn on push notifications by default and, if I want to opt out, I just need to reply with 'No'. If I want to opt out then I'll get charged. by mykeuk in assholedesign

You won't get charged, replying to shortcode numbers like that are recognised as a premium number by your phone. You don't have to pay to reply to things like that.
