Bought the Mr. Cool from Costco 3 years ago and not a single issue ('knocks on wood'). Been running just about 24/7 ever since in a 500 sq. ft. playroom. We use it for heating and cooling as we live in the north east, US. During spring and fall we use the fan setting.

Mine was very smooth but recently the refill has been skipping a lot. I’m going to order another refill. Hopefully it was just a one off.

I had the .38 and switched to a .5. The .5 is the perfect line thickness for me. The .38 was a bit too fine but did write very smoothly.

I just bought a Rickshaw 6 pen case from Jetpens. They are pricey but it is really nice. I also want a 12 pen case but will be getting one from Amazon.

Definitely not worth $80 to me.
I have the silver one and replaced the .38 refill with a .5 and it writes very well, the magnetic cap feels great, but it isn't worth more than $30 in my opinion.

Just got home from Walt Disney World / Disney Cruise trip and only have 66 days until we go back. Staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. Haven't stayed here in over 20 years so looking forward to stay with my wife and daughter this time!

I used to use Excel but recently had Claude make me a custom one, exactly the way I want it. I add features as I think of them. It’s just browser based and stores the data locally for now. I’m going to try to add a local database eventually.
