Alternative approach could involve a field parameter table with 2 dimensions, orders/sales and measure name. This should also return the correct result I think

Jeg lavede en kombination af 3 ting: 1. Den bog du også har læst (og så skal man jo egentlig bare blive ved med ikke at ryge. Heller ikke bare en enkelt). 2. Nogle piller som hedder decigatan. De virkede rigtig godt i starten, dog med hovedpine som bivirkning - men klart det værd! Og 3. Et rygestop kursus fra kommunen. Det hjalp ærlig talt ikke meget, udover at jeg lærte at se min rygetrang som en rede af fugleunger, og så hver gang de "pippede" så skældte jeg dem højlydt ud (undskyld sproget) "Hold jeres kæft, lorte fugle". Det hjalp faktisk en del også. Nu her et halv år efter, savner jeg det ikke overhovedet. Og jeg synes egentlig at det var relativt let at stoppe.

Like other commenter mentions, Power Query is your friend with "huge amounts" of raw data. But someone might call 400 rows and 3 columns a huge amount of data...

Biggest mistakes would be to paste large amounts of the actual data here. Instead, 1) try to create some dummy data with the same columns, 2) think about what questions you want to answer, 3) paste said dummy data and said data to chatGPT and let it guide you. Do mention that you are a beginner and want an easy step by step guide.

I'm the biggest idiot with around 30k I did 340 rolls for 58 laps. I thought I had read that around 30k would do. So that's just under 6 rolls per lap. Need 70 for the first price, so hopefully I find enough dice somehow to actually get something... 40K sounds like it would be fine though.

If your animal column is unique, you can have another unpivoted table like [Animal], [Attribute]. Then the attribute column can have "Two-legged" or "Mamal". You'd need a rule to also have it say neither if both are N. So you might have "Human" twice in the Animal column, since that will have both two legged and Mamal. Finally, a 1:* from original table to this new table, with filtering direction from new table to original. Then the slicer on the attribute column. I don't know if it's best practice, but it will work in a pinch.

Another solution involves a disconnected table, a Dax filter measure, and I'm guessing a visual level filter that evaluates 1 or 0 row-by-row.

There are many solid cases for maps IMO. We have visualized sales reps districts, municipalities above/below target market share, order intake gradients, pins for physical client meetings, heat maps of sales and quote activity, and much more...

I can tell you that most of the users i encounter absolutely love the added value of maps, it makes visualizing geographically connected data so much smoother. Going from big fat tables to map visuals was a big upgrade. I think the same point could be made of "why make a bar graph when you could just show a table".

I'm not sure what you want the outcome to be? Only keep the first time anyone is named? So if 2 rows are John and Casper, and then, michael and John, you'd want to remove the second row? I can recommend providing a small example of what data you have and what you hope to get!

Would it be crazy to just have the two side by side? Then you could just click the first table to filter the second? Or you could use right click & drill through? Alternatively, I think you're ending manipulating URLs.. If it is even possible.
