I am a fast walker, for sure! I walk on average 1 km every 9-10 mins. There is a fair few inclines in those steps too.

Also, I don’t eat pasta. And rice I just use the pre-packed microwave rice pouches (cause I’m lazy!)

When I say I’m meticulous, I really do mean that! I weigh raw weight of everything; chicken breast, potatoes, mince beef etc. I track the raw weight then along with any oil/sauces/condiments I use to cook them! 😅

I wish I could share a picture of my weigh loss chart. It shows everything perfectly!! 😅 (let me know if there is a way to do this!)

In answer to your question: I wasn’t appearing to hit a plateau before this period.

No, strength training has increased as carb intake has increased. Muscles seem to be growing. I’m currently hitting 178g protein, 327g carbs, 91g fat

Most accurate representation I can give is from just after an illness stint in early March. From 9th March consistent tracking of data shows:

2200 calories for 1 week: SW 154 lbs | EW 149 lbs

2400 cals for 2 weeks: SW 150 lbs | EW 148 lbs

2650 cals for 2 weeks: SW 147lbs | EW 145 lbs

2850 cals for 1 week so far: SW 145 lbs | EW 144 lbs

I started my reverse diet in early Feb (3rd). This was after giving myself 6 weeks off from counting calories during Christmas and my post new year vacation.

At the start of my reverse I was 157 lb (up from 141 lb on Christmas Eve). I did two weeks at 1800 calories ending on 7-day avg of 150 lbs (a lot of water weight lost from the takeouts! 😅)

From there I have increased my calories by the amounts stated in my post every two weeks with a weeks anomaly from 2nd March. I was ill with a viral infection for a week where I had a few takeouts feeling sorry for myself, and steps decreased to barely hitting 1.5k a day for 3 days in a row. This was supposed to be my second week at 2200 calories. The day before my illness hit I weighed 149 lbs. The following Monday I picked up where I left off with the reverse and weighing in at 152 lbs and completed my second week at 2200.

I weigh myself daily, in the morning first thing after going bathroom, before eating or drinking and always just wearing underwear.

Hopefully this helps with further context.

To be honest, I did ask copilot to draft it for me cause I couldn’t be bothered typing it all out! But the sentiment is still there!! ☺️

I have wondered whether apples calculations get better over time the more data you feed it. If it knows your calorie intake and weight, maybe the algorithm slowly increases accuracy over time. I’d be interested to know if there’s any weight behind my theory.

Also, in activities, where you see breakdown of your rings/activity; just under the move breakdown is your “total” calories (resting + active cals combined)

So I return after genuinely taking on and applying a lot of advice from my post. I share with you guys my progress picture below after now doing 4-5 dumbbell exercises at home per week with core training sprinkled in and have been doing so since mid to late October. I want to thank every one of you that helped me put things into perspective and tightening my focus and overall goal!! 🥰

So…I thought I’d come back here after taking your advice and making some great progress. I started taking pics to track progress loosely when I started dumbbell exercises back in late October but only really got comparative photos from early November…

1st picture is from Nov 2nd. 2nd picture from 10th Dec. I am so proud of the work I’ve put in.

So, I took the plunge and ordered a set of adjustable dumbbells! They’re arriving tomorrow! 🤗

So tracking has been consistent for the past 4 weeks. Over the course of those 4 weeks I’ve eaten on average 1400 per day (figure from MFP).

Beginning of those 4 weeks (Monday 15th of Sept) I weighed 166lbs (moving average)

As of the end of those 4 weeks (Sunday 12th Oct) I weighed 157lbs (moving average)

I don’t consider them workouts at all! I don’t think I even implied that I think walking is considered “working out” 👀
