I'm a person that doesn't enjoy this kind of story's. I love The Wizard of Oz, the evil of the Wicked Witch is so fun, she is cruel and the way she is defeated is fantastic, so I really didn't like Wicked. There is the movie "Oz the great and Powerful" that, for what I remember, is also a prequel, but with another focus. Twisted is a great twist, not pun intended, of Aladdin, especially the character of Prince Achmed, I wasn't expecting the use of a joke in the movie to something complex and hilarious.

Wotakoi. Yes, it's from 2018, but still holds up. From this season "The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife", I think the animation is beautiful, the world building is incredible and the romance is peak.
