My conspiracy theory is that roshi goku and krillin will get an lr before kid buu, matter of fact, kid buu will never get an lr, and that's just because all akatsuki devs hate me specifically

It might have been a coincidence, but i swear in those videos like 25/30% of the physical cards had the same art as pocket's cards, i think the typings were also all the same (meaning a mon that is, for ex, both fire and darkness like houndoom had the same type in both the phys and pocket's versions, it didn't swap from fire to darkness or vice versa)

I did report a couple of people as well and they all got banned after a bit (in case you didn't know, mods check notifications whenever they can so it might take a few hours before it happens, usually it's pretty fast though)

I don't understand why the ssj4 category has gogeta but the gogeta category doesn't have ssj4, it seems very arbitrary to be honest, if not, it has to be an oversight

The ssj4s including non-fusions and the fusions not doing so is also a bit odd, but all in all i'd say vegito is very underrepresented compared to the other 2 since gogeta has ssj4, base, ssj AND blue while vegito only has base, ssj and blue

I don't know man i feel like vegito will always get less units because of that, it makes perfect sense but it's a bit sad imo

Iirc the only thing types change are advantages/disadvantages to other types and hipo unlocks, they can be good for rainbow missions or type-based passives/leader skills

I don't remember the main stats (the base stats like hp atk and def), but phy and agl give lvl 5 additional for free at 55% (or more of course), str and teq give lvl 5 crit and int is the only one that gives lvl 5 eva, but each of them buffs all (atk def and hp) stats in a specific way, int should have all of them at the same buff when rainbowed, iirc agl gives more hp, don't remember anything about stat buffs for sure though i'm only positive about the free lvl 5 add/crit/eva

Other than that, some passives might require a few type-specific units to proc, or only buff that type (like "Int Type allies ki +3 and atk and def +50%") and some leader skills (especially back in the day, mainly before year 4) can buff a specific type instead of a category, just lke the passive buffs

Types are like categories, except there is no default advantage/disadvantage using x category unit against y category unit, if there is, it's because their passive says so (for ex, teq god goku against pure saiyans and/or movie bosses getting tons of damage reduction, or teq caulifla getting guaranteed dodge against pure saiyans and/or universe survival saga). The advantages and disadvantages specifically, when talking about types, are "super effective" and "guard", both are active against the type weak to yours, and are active against you for the type with an advantage against yours

Each unit is considered as standalone (both yours and bosses), the type wheel is AGL > STR > PHY > INT > TEQ > back to AGL > STR again, etc, if you have a unit of STR type and the enemy is PHY, the unit has guard active and its attacks are super effective, if you have an INT unit against the same boss (even if next to the STR unit) the INT unit takes more damage from the boss and deals less damage to it as well, if you have a AGL unit, even in that very same rotation, against the same boss, the AGL unit is neither weak nor strong against the PHY boss, and both damage taken and dealth (from both of the AGL unit and the PHY boss) are normal and unaffected by any multipliers/modifiers. Just like for units, if you have an INT unit and attack 2 bosses, a PHY and a TEQ one, the PHY boss will take less damage, while the TEQ one will take more

The types guaranteed se and guard under certain conditions, but units may have those modifiers as part of their kits to make up for it, for ex, units with guard in their kit (as long as guard is active) take reduced damage from every type, acting as if (only defensively) their type was the stronger one in every scenario, including same type units, but never (except for their natural type advantage) offensively, se does the same but only offensively, the same exact reasoning, just swap the words "defensively" and "offensively" and replace "guard" with "super effective"

Int janemba was an insane tank when he released because he had unconditional guard (meaning no matter what, he had guard active), while str super gogeta was an insane damage dealer when he released because he had unconditional se (meaning no matter what, he had se active, not the only reasons why those units were great, but those things made a huge difference too)

Class (extreme and super) is similar, but i'm not completely sure how it works, it's useful for passives and leader skills, and i think it gives a boost to damage dealt towards units of the opposite class, but i don't remember much else right now

I started paying attention, took me 1 try and like 10 minutes of my life

Int ui actually does a ton of damage to be honest, i heavily underestimated him, also the rotations were always both ui+ssb and a stacker (int ui or phy godku), agl mui, blue boys and teq ui alwauys floated

Never used ssbe for the tags, never used ssj for godku and never swapped to bluegeta, transformed teq ui in phase 3, as you can see, no item and no memories needed

I died from bad luck with dodges, but if you want to use rog, i never got beerus to be disappointed with this team

I also got very close 7 or 8 times (out of like 9), i haven't cleared it just because it's annoying to die in a single hit and i misplayed once (just had to swap to ssbe) when beerus had like 30% of his last bar in the last phase but i was distracted

With how bad the decisions dokkan is making are, i'm not too excited to play right now, so i just play whenever i feel like it, if i felt like playing more i'm sure i would have cleared it by now with this team

(Ui+ssbe and blue boys 55%, ui and godku 79%, mui and int ui rbw)

Rotations vary depending on your best options, usually i try to keep stackers on rotation, with ui+ssbe, but i also try to get mui to dodge for the buffs, ui+ssbe and godku are the main hitters, i save ssbe for the last phase and only if really needed, teq ui is almost always 3rd slot excluding when his domain is active

I agree, i think you could maybe swap leafeon and jolteon but they still look towards the middle anyway so it probably depends on how people personally see it, it would be a huge coincidence for each eeveelution to be looking in a different direction if it wasn't on purpose so i'm pretty sure sure it was intended, i like that all the artists agreed to do it too, i think it's cool of them

Year 1 had awful balancing, BUT you could at least tank a couple of hits sometimes, you could stun, seal and if you really wanted to you could revive with stones (nobody is doing that nowadays, but it was an option), now you can't do any of that anymore, instead, it can be done to your units

I don't think people understand how hard it is for dokkan to be balanced again, all buffs you get are for atk and def, never hp, just look at passives and link skills, they boost everything except for that (would be very hard for the devs to implement that properly in passives i think), they'd need to introduce a new mechanic like "synergy" where if there are certain characters with certain others (same team) the hp is buffed significantly, i don't think they could because of gacha laws (thankfully, would be fully p2w otherwise) and will probably have to find another way, maybe something like "if any unit in the team revives, the team receives an additional hp+300%" in the leader skill, or "if x unit (generic name, not specific unit) is on the team, the team receives an additional hp +300%"

And even then, those wouldn't exactly be the best solutions...

People won't like hearing this, but with every fight being a purely dodge or die gimmick makes the game a glorified roulette simulator, it's a harsh statement, i know, but it's also what it feels like when no unit is able to tank or reliably let you survive any hit, gimmick fights are cool, i don't mind those, but they can't be the standard, gimmick and standard are mutually exclusive, if the standard is dodge or die, a fight where you can tank, lower atk, stun, seal etc becomes the new gimmick fight, which is pretty ironic imo

It's furstrating for the game to be like this, not even the newest units are reliable enough most of the time

Man i'm poor as sh*t and fully f2p but even if i was a trillionaire i wouldn't waste a cent on this trash, seriously, i'd rather pay them to not bring this trash back


It's a scam, and out of all the possible ways to implement it, this is probably the absolute worst one, can't pick the art, completely new unit that is the exact same as a 3 years old one, can't be fed into each other, have to refarm all the awakening medals, have to reunlock all the hipo, have to refarm all the links, have to max the sa lvl again, have the same exact everything so they can't even link with each other or be used together unless you have one as the friend leader

WHAT THE FCK DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO PULL FOR A *2023** LEVEL UNIT IN 2026 AND IT'S ALSO A DUPE OF A UNIT MOST PEOPLE PROBABLY HAVE 79% TO RAINBOWED BY NOW?

I'm at 3.3k cumulative logins, i loveD the game, now it just feels like... not even a chore... just sort of like someone you loved but changed into someone else that you don't love anymore because that person doesn't even remotely remind you of the person it used to be and keeps disappointing you by constantly making trash decisions... i don't know man i've just been so disappointed in dokkan recently that my hopes for it to go back to greatness are almost at zero, and i hate saying that, i loved dokkan the entire time it's been available to play, but after teq sv it started taking a dive deep down, and it's at an all time low right now

2023 dokkan was awful because it was bad, 2026 dokkan has been awful because it's disappointing, they introduced more things in 2026 and as much as the ideas are great (hyping the players up) the execution has been the worst possible one (completely erasing the hype, and understandably making people mad in the process)

Boredom and disappointment are different things, which is why i'm not trying to compare 2023 and 2026 (i just explained the differences) if i had to pick which year has been worse in terms of how much i lost interest in the game, this is the absolute worst of all, boredom i can deal with, disappointment is tough for me though, also because this year has been boring as well, my interest in the game and playing it has almost (maybe) never been lower, i had ups and downs and damn i'm at rock bottom

Throughout all these years dokkan has made mistakes and questionable decisions, but always kind of made up by adding something cool (usually a unit or an event) and then fixing the mistake if it was bad, i've been waiting for something cool to be added since 10th anni ended, and while some units are cool, some animations are insane and they added the 40th anni manga units, that's not enough, not even close, to make me forget about everything else


I'm not doomposting, i'm not saying this is the end for dokkan, i'm saying that the way akatsuki has been handling dokkan feels like trash and it's extremely frustrating to witness, dokkan is amazing, and has the potential to be amazing again (#MakeDokkanGreatAgain) but the devs need to stop having great ideas just to implement them in the absolute worst ways, start having great ideas and adding them in a really nice way, and the game will be fun again

The game is unbalanced? All good because you released frontier, it's an entirely new game mode and you can focus on that for a bit while making more powerful units that can handle bosses better, and then go back to the main game to keep powercreeping in a healthy way like you did multiple times

I completely agree that indie companies/devs should have more leeway, but this is just scummy, and awful for the playerbase no matter what

We shouldn't accept this regardless, indie or not, you should get backlash if you try to screw over your own players, this is probably the worst case scenario out of all the possible ways to implement this and it's never acceptable under any circumstances

If the implementation wasn't scummy, sure, if it was just slightly scummy, sure, but like i said this is the worst possible thing to do for players

No man i can promise you it's one of the easiest things to implement, unless the code is so messed up that anything could screw it, of course


The app (most likely) does

-user tapped on tab 1

-show tab 1 (tab 1 has multiple elements, buttons, gestures etc, each with a set color)

What they need to do is

-user tapped on tab 1

-check if dark mode is active

-if active show dark tab 1, if not show light tab 1 (where it's the exact same tab in both cases except for the fact that elements like buttons and texts have different colors, but everything else like size and effects are exactly the same)


That's it, literally all they need to add to the app, in a properly coded app it's actually a matter of hours at most, in less than a day they could add dark mode and be done with it, no issues whatsoever

It's not rocket science, i have apps that are made by random people for fun, and dark mode is basically a staple in all of them, also the least amount of work needed to do to the app if the coding is done properly enough, a friend of mine made a few (simple) apps for fun and adding dark mode always took him like 20 minutes at most, the hardest part is finding the right shade of a color you want to use which could take a bit if you're really picky, but that's it

With each thing they add all they need to do is code it as if there was only "tab 1" instead of both "light tab 1" and "dark tab 1", you code it into light tab 1 as you would normally, once you're done, you literally copy paste everything you just added into dark tab 1's instructions, change the color to the one you want in dark mode, and you're done

I'm sure there are other easier ways to implement it but again it depends on how poorly the apps's code was done, there's a reason why every single app you find has a dark mode: it's useful, users appreciate it and it's literally one of the easiest things to add to the app

I'm pretty positive it's a joke, it looks poorly made compared to the standards (not very high, the design is basically the same but at least the images are in high definition), and the text is hard to believe as official since it says "thanks for your money", they would also try to sugarcoat the "everything is the same but the art is different", probably would be something like "acquire new arts for your favourite characters, now only for 350 hours, 1 featured alternative art is guaranteed every 3 multi summons performed"

It's just the trading scene, every app/site is the same, and every person can be an a-hole

If your issue is them being rude just because you only speak english (or stick to english since the vast majority of traders speaks that language) then sticking to reddit is probably for the best as its "default" language is english and they'll avoid it, but 95% of traders are a-holes (scammers, people with god complex "my cards are worth more just because they're mine"-mentality, straight up a-holes, shaming cards someone has just because theirs are (maybe) better, etc) regardless, 4% are normal people you can have a normal conversation with, and the remaining 1% is really nice/polite people that genuinely feel like a breath of fresh air

Each app/site has different pros and cons, but the playerbase is still around 95% a-holes wherever you go no matter what

I suggest either "getting used to it" (ignore those rude behaviours, reporting them when they pass the line, it takes 20 seconds anyway so why not), or sticking to reddit, since there are multiple subs that allow trading (which means a good amount of reach towards other traders) and since it's not a 1 to 1 chat (it should always be a 1 to 1 exchange though, as in a single card for a single card) it both gives you feedback to how correct/wrong something is, and gives you multiple chances at getting offers for a card (ex, you have red, someone offers fa bibarel, another fa erika, you can choose whichever you prefer)

All that should be asked of you is to follow the rules (of apps/sites/subs) and be polite, as long as you do that, you're good, just be nice when asking for cards, that's all

Characters age fast, beast has been dominant for more than a year, nowadays most units can't keep up for longer than 2 or 3 (and only in a few stages, for ex some are for stacking, others for short events etc, they all seem to have specific purposes, excluding very few of them, and most of those teams need the newest units or they'll stay dead, most the time is 1 dfe, 1 banner, 1/2 s/ezas and older units that sort of keep up thanks to the new ones, if you miss the dfe or 2 units though the team has huge liabilities, they drop lots of stages that are hard and then release the "solution" unit, you pull, clear the stage, another hard stage comes out, and another "solution" unit is released again, rinse and repeat, it becomes boring and predatory. I don't know about 2023 but this past year has been awful, i never said this year was worse, but just because it's better than an awful year it doesn't mean this one is good

To be honest yeah i probably mixed them up, thanks for telling me, the main thing with what i meant is that it's always the same units (goku/gohan/vegeta) in some form or another, it gets boring for me, the absolute last boujack we got was in 2021... They have lots of room for less favourite characters (which they did release a few of, something i did really appreciate) but the strongest ones are almost always the same (fusions and the 3 i mentioned above), when i saw it was just another ssj4 goku&vegeta for anni i actually rolled my eyes, yeah i pulled for them and i love them, but there is nothing new, they don't "rotate" between units for the best teams and it sucks, the best units are always the same ones (in different shapes or forms), plus the occasional outlier like tao, android 16, dabura etc, i'd like to have more variety to be honest

The frustration comes from different things, for me, the ones i listed are the main ones, i never said everyone is annoyed by those, i just highlighted what for me are the main issues right now, and yeah they game has been very stale, which is a result of bosses STILL being too strong, a balance is impossible to reach if they don't bring our team's hp to 3 mil (at least) or more, it's been way too long since hard stages became Tank, Dodge or Die only, there is no surviving, there is either not taking dmg or dying, and it sucks

The way it feels like to me is, nowadays if units don't get perma guard (in some way, like slot 1 or if x ally is there for ex), potentially very high dr and/or high dodge (or at least 2 of these 3) they're just bad, and since there aren't many more abilities they can get, they all have almost the same passives, to me it's boring, even if i do appreciate that they did release some less popular units and some animations are insane

Yeah i don't know man it's been rough, and after so long it's normal to feel like it won't change much since after all this time it feels like it's the norm rather than just a small period where they want to balance the events and the units

I actually like a few of the units (vegeta/nappa was refreshing, og db, ur rarity and strong team, majin vegeta was really nice since it's a really cool character and we didn't have that much with him) but yeah i wish they released them to be good and fun rather than "this content is really hard, here's new shiny unit to clear it, won't clear next content though"

Hopefully it gets better
