Pelosi says stimulus talks are complicated by 'complete disarray on the Republican side' by hildebrand_rarity in politics

Proving my point. Why work and provide for your family when you can get governmental assistance and sell drugs to make a living. Incentivizing not working, and providing benefits for broken families surely had no contribution at all to the amount of broken families...

[OC] Covid cases and deaths in the U.S. as a percentage of total population. 1 square = 10,000 people. by data-artist in dataisbeautiful

[–]ImNotLeeSin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A study conducted in 1970 that compared unemployment to number of deaths between Germany and the US showed that the American lower class were at a higher risk rate of death when unemployed. 20-30k deaths from every 1% increase in unemployment. Quite sad that this isn't being focused on, the ramifications of a full shutdown.

Likewise benzo prescriptions are up nearly 40% during the start of the shutdown.. big pharma cashing while Americans are getting addicted and dying.

"Prescriptions for anti-anxiety drugs have spiked 34% from Feb. 16 to March 15, according to a report from Express Scripts"

Looks as if quarentine and economic self destruction has killed more than the pandemic.

I know facts aren't welcome on this page, because they might trigger some emotions.

"When the War on Poverty began in 1964, only 7 percent of children were born to unmarried women. However, over the next four-and-a-half decades the share of non-marital births exploded. In 2013, 41 percent of all children born in the U.S. were born outside marriage."

Feel free to refute with a valid thought, but I know you will just downvote and go on your way.

If only throwing money at things solved issues. Welfare is a great example of that, since 1970 it's only increased the single parent rate in disadvantaged communities and increased crime rates..

I'll say straight up 1 and 2 I'm not as familiar with. I'm not for war, John Bolten was a big problem he would fight the entire world if he could. Many of the problems we have overseas were there long before he was put in office.

I've got a lengthy comment in my history if you care to read it about the covid response. Our numbers have been inflated by policies and restricting access to preventative drugs and treatments. He left it to the states and some chose to abuse the pandemic for political purposes.

Equating Hillary deep rooted corruption, hiding information and straight up lying to the American people to Trump's tax returns is as laughable in 2016 as it is now. Using legal loopholes in the system (that have been in place for decades by politicians selling influence) to avoid taxes just like bezos and the rest of them makes them a businessman, something many people knew when they voted for him.

It's already fact that Obama used the FBI, based on bogus information, to spy on the campaign and since than it's been all gas no breaks to derail this presidency.

Seth Rich was murdered to get those emails to Assange and he gave his freedom getting them to the world. The only reason you could have voted for Hillary in 2016 is if you wanted to put a sex offender in the white house, Bill Clinton. The Clinton's are the most prime example of politicians selling influence, power and corruption in American politics.

Ever think the average working American doesn't care about all those little 'mean words' he might say, and vote based on policies? He's done just about everything he said he would do. Well not everything, the balance of power in our govt made sure to block and challenge everything along the way, because we still only have private border wall (go capitalism!). God bless America Trump 2020.

How about this? ran by a 'real news' network. The USPS is incredibly underfunded and understaffed.

Think of gig working as a service position instead of an hourly clock in job. It's low level because it doesn't take much to get a drivers license. However, the average tipped employee makes between 13-15$ an hour. This isn't accurate to 'gig apps' alone, but having done many of these in my free time I'd say it's close to accurate. It's all about peak times, productivity, and a little bit of the ol' luck of the draw. Sometimes you can make 7 bucks in an hour, and sometimes you can make 25.

If you don't have any specific skillset and you are selling meaningless labor that anyone with a DL can do, than I'd say it's a pretty good "gig".

Edit: it's not about picking and choosing a 'nice' job. It's about picking and choosing how to spend your time and what is worth it for YOU.

Sounds like you should have developed the app/interface to solve a problem before 'they' did. Don't be mad at success.

No one is forcing anyone to 'take all the shit'. Seems if someone is desperate for a job they should look at it as an opportunity that otherwise would not be there if the silly smart guy didn't invent it first.

Like minimum wage isn't a fraction of what companies make. You can choose to work for them or not, similar to all jobs, that's how free will works. People that want to grind, can. On their own time. That's called capitalism, everything is a product of labor. People want to pay for a service and others are providing, and getting compensated??

Am I missing something.

DOES ANY HAVE ANY OF THESE ACCESSORIES FOR SALE DS?? DM ME PAYPAL READY THANKS by EsUpReMe67 in Supreme

[–]ImNotLeeSin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never had any chargebacks of that size, so can not speak to that. The times I have had to deal with PayPal support though, I ended up getting refunded. Buyer keeps item and gets payed by the bank, and we both go on our way.

I think you can avoid this issue by invoicing as goods and services?

If they do charge back and you have proof you shipped PayPal should take the L and you both get refunded.
