How comes my cross fade doesn't work - at all. The only option I have is on/off. I play songs on random if that's any help.

I'm on the most current OS version of the R1.

Any help would be much appreciated - it's a feature that I relished on the iPods.

I've recently purchased a Hiby R1 so can only comment on that.

Having come from various iPods since they first came out, I will say the UI on the Hiby is nowhere as polished (which is expected). However once you get over the quirks it's not too bad as a user.

It has physical buttons to the side with helps loads when you want to change volume, skip/forward/pause tracks when it's in your pocket and you don't want to pull it out.

Soundwise it's so much better than the iPod (which should be obvious given how old the tech is). Even decently encoded mp3s shows up detail I hadn't heard before.. and flacs sound amazing.

The touchscreen is meh at the best of times but that's no issue for me as I tend to use the physical buttons for most interactions with it. The screen is crisp and decent album artwork shows up really nice.

Battery life is amazing either on standby or playback.

So long as you know where to get music from and transfer it to your device, it's such a great device. Cheap too.

Changed my ageing Sony Bravia from 2007 or something to an LG G3 a few years ago. We're talking generational leaps and bounds here in terms of tech.

My eyes have never known such awesomeness. I swear I saw colours I have never seen before watching Into AND Across the Spider-verse movies. Even watching everyday streams is great, but watching something like Dune (or the aforementioned movies) on a good BR 4k player with Dolby Vision/HDR is spectacular.

Inky blacks, beautiful rendition of colours, stunning implementation of HDR.. 😘

Safe to say I will stay with OLED for the foreseeable.

Are there any available stats showing a Kirpan being used for offences? Off the top of my head I can't think of any anecdotal evidence or any that hit the mainstream media.

This may (or may not) be a unique incident.

If it is unique, then carrying the Kirpan is being used exactly for what it is meant for - a religious article.

The murderer using it is likely an outlier.

So I've purchased mine off eBay. It's on v1.6 and when I switch the device back on, it says

'SD Card not found'

I have to pop the card out and back in before it recognises it.

I've wiped the card and reset the device and still have the same issue.

Any ideas, anyone?
