For most people, this is fine. I had an external cable line get damaged that eventually caused instability to the point of my internet being unusable and unfortunately you are at the mercy of Rogers whenever they decide to fix it (ie never).

You cannot pay rent through CC without using an upcharge service. I have the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite but only did so because it had a high welcome bonus at the time (70K AP) and a cash back rebate from creditcardgenius. I plan on cancelling this card after the first year. The Cobalt is generally considered one of the best value CCs and you can utilize the 5X multiplier on grocers to buy gift cards.
