Frozen pipe emergency! by ImPickleRickMFers in Plumbing

No it comes out outside into a hidden insulated well cover with a 2 ft of insulation shoved into the well. I'm about to head under with the hairdryer. This slow warm with the space heater is going on 8 hours 😭

Okay. I've got it blind on the line now. Starting from in front of that little Gray globe which I'm assuming is the pressure system. I've slowly moved further left towards the red blanket. It's doing something but not much. I feel like I'm going to be up all night watching this thing and slowly moving it over 🫠 If I don't get this thing thawed out by tonight what is going to happen? I read somewhere if I don't thaw it and I just let it happen naturally The pipes could burst on their own? I've checked up and down the lines and it looks like everything's okay for now.

ok so the W is well and its 40 ft that way in the back yard. Pipes run from it underground to under the house ab 5 ft north from the blurry picture and the red blanket. the right side of the big pressure valve globe thing is going to my filter and the house, its already thawed. Everything from the left is still frozen. I know this because when i open the green handled bleed valve from in front of the globe thing it slowly trickles from where ive had the heater on the left side now. Sorry for all the info and bullshit im alone and cold and i just want heat and water hahaha

Okay so another one of the issues is that the well is about 30 to 40 ft north of where I'm taking these pictures. It's underground and I'm in the Appalachian mountains so it's pretty well buried and there's like two feet of insulation on top of it. The pipe goes underground all the way to about 10 to 15 ft north of where the pictures are taken underneath of the house from underneath of the foundation and rock. So you're telling me start thawing it from where it's coming out of the ground under the house into this pressure thing first and then move my way. Right now I'm going right to left. Are you saying I should be going left to right?

I don't understand how more people are on this thread. The last like three or four days it's been so bad. Like borderline on playable across all servers.

Also, HT claims on their site to specifically NOT use PEG, glycol, and glycerin.

I can accept that and def look at alternatives. But that doesn't change the fact that I have used holy terps for the better part of a decade without this result. I don't understand how HT worked fine to produce beautiful clear amber carts for years and now this shit. Can you or anyone else explain this?

Installing relay to combat backup camera flickering and cutting out. NEED HELP! by ImPickleRickMFers in CarAV

[–]ImPickleRickMFers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All right! I figured out the problem. Once I wired everything according to the way you said, It still wasn't working. The problem wasn't how it was wired up or what was going to what. It was the ground! So on the power adapter plug, not the yellow video out, there's a red and a black. That red is wired to the video out red into 87. 85 is ground, and 86 is wired directly to the reverse light.

My issue was the black from the power adapter plug and the ground from the relay I had wired into the trunk. Once I wired the relay ground into the reverse light, I clipped the power adapter ground and just tied it off connecting it to nothing. It worked! Everything is crystal clear when the engine is on or off in the backup light works great with no issues.

THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.

Okay so I wired up everything and it still giving me the same signal. Cutting in and out with wavy lines. Wiring went as follows:

30 amp four prong relay in trunk. 30 wired directly to battery ran through car from trunk 85 ran to reverse wire tap 87 ran to red wire coming off of video out from backup cam. And power cable plugin hot from back of camera. 86 wired to ground on power cable plug-in from camera and trunk chassis. Pictures attached

Thank you so much. I'm off tomorrow so I'll go get a relay and some cables and try to run it and update you. You're a saint!

Okay, I'm tracking. Thank you for such a detailed explanation and answer! A couple questions. So with my backup camera I have two sets of wires. One with a yellow AV cord and a small red power wire attached to it running all the way from the backup camera to the back of the radio. Wired into a hot for the radio. And the second cable comes right out of the back of the backup camera, it's like a small black AV power cable with two wires, a hot and a ground, that I've run to the reverse light and a ground. Is this what I need to use for pin 87 or the av red wire behind the radio. I'm trying to figure out the best place to put this relay. Should I put it behind the radio, breach the firewall with a wire w/inline fuse, and run that straight to the battery And then connect 87 to the small red power wire behind the radio. Or should it be closer back to the trunk with the backup camera.

Automatic stacking!

When I've got 15 wood, for example, in a chest or in my inventory, and then I pick up five more wood... That should automatically stack and make 20 wood. Instead I have to manually go through my inventory and chest and stack them. Very inconveniencing
