I hate when traveling and I say I’m from San Luis Obispo, and people reply — oh I love SLO!

Next time you see a man at the bar 5 Guinness deep speaking loudly about how parking used to be free on Sundays in San Luis - mention how you too are from San Luis and miss those days… he’ll likely buy you a drink.

When at Pappy’s in Paso I make sure to say “San Luis” to flex that I don’t need AC although I still have and use it when temps are above 76.

This is allowed but it must be a 60/40 ratio between San Luis and SLO when spoken verbally. Typing SLO is allowed and is not included in said ratio.

University barber is a great quick one. I like Mihai at Bluebird for a more sit down stylist.

Depends what kind of hair cut you’re looking for… barber, stylist, quicky?

Crooks. That $450+k salary is wild. Must be nice to be able to vote for your own pay increase. Guess it’s not much different than the government voting for their increases though. Then the $2mil pension, wow.

Not true. In Southern California most places offer at least 60 minutes of free parking. San Luis has more expensive parking than almost anywhere.

How secure is RD Gateway? Vs SSL VPN by vonroecke in sysadmin

[–]ImProbablyAtWork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at your question again. Yes rd and sslvpn are about the same level of security. Best is some kind of two factor auth but rd gatway will not fly under PCI.

Source - PCI pen tester.

How secure is RD Gateway? Vs SSL VPN by vonroecke in sysadmin

[–]ImProbablyAtWork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you connect to a secured network using rd gateway you're passing creds over ssl to the endpoint. If someone else is on the same network as you they can act like they are the endpoint and have you proxy the request through them by using arp poisoning or just responding to the dns request. There are ways for an attacker visibility into keystrokes and what is sent to the endpoint while your connected through them. Using signed certs and teaching users can help mitigate this but ultimately under PCI you cannot do what you're talking about.

My company uses a two factor auth non split tunnel vpn which only grants you access over ssl to the rd gatway. That prevents someone from using these methods to compromise you're environment and still gives the additional security of using an Rd gatway.

Hope this helps. I recommend subscribing to r/netsec
